House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) said on this week’s broadcast of “Sunday Morning Futures” that former President Donald Trump was “100%” with him.
Host Maria Bartiromo asked, “The former president, President Trump has talked about the possibility of turning aid for Ukraine into a loan. Is that what you’re considering?”
Johnson said, “Yes. You know, I had a great visit with him on Friday, and he and I are 100% united on these big agenda items.”

Ukraine is the richest country in Europe when it comes to its VAST natural resources, which notably include Uranium, and many other products America needs. The US can send weapons in exchange for natural resources.

I wish he was more specific on which “big agenda items” with which he was united Trump. And contrary to popular opinion not all of us Trump supporters are mindless followers of him, if Trump thinks it cool to have warrantless searches of Americans or any other violation of the Constitution, well he better think again. I support policies not personalities.

President Trump does not want there to be another mutiny in the House, just months before the election. The Republican Party needs to continue to be purged of RINOs - and MAGA leaders like MTG and Gaetz need to keep up the pressure.
However, this is the wrong time for another Republican Speaker to be fired - even if he totally deserves it.

Trump is the man who conceived the loan gambit, and announced it with Johnson standing at his side. Trump gave Johnson the green light, thus Johnson's statement that they are aligned, and Trump's statement that Johnson is “doing a very good job”.
Oh wait, there is no such thing. Okay, each federal employee has to pay into a fund to start this, and bet their pensions that it will be paid back.
