Ukraine’s Zelensky ‘Personally’ Thanks Mike Johnson for $61 Billion Gift from U.S. Taxpayers

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky said he was “personally” grateful to “Speaker Mike Johnson for the decision that keeps history on the right track” after Johnson shepherded a $61 billion Ukraine aid package through the House Saturday.

The image of scores of Democrats waving Ukraine flags and cheering on the House floor as the bill passed will forever sting the conservatives from whose ranks Johnson rose, only to serve them with the ultimate betrayal.

Right. Mostly people that have allegiances to other countries and suck off the teat.

Anderson Cooper is a Vanderbilt.

Tucker Carlson's stepmother comes from Swanson wealth so that's why he's loaded.

So it appears that a good number of the News Media comes from the Ruling class.

We’ve been betrayed, pure and simple. Johnson has turned out to be one of the biggest turncoats in history. The spirit of Benedict Arnold is still at work.

There's something more than a little "off" about them dudes.

The ones from out-of-state.

Then look into the husband / wives / gay partners of the Media personnel.

Jennifer Griffin’s hubby is like #2 at NPR.

There’s never enough free money.

Someone needs to ask Fox and these “leaders” what is the limit? How many generations are they willing to sacrifice.

That’s the question they all fear.

Newt Gingrich said there’s no limit - it’s endless.

5 billion for a border wall and we didn’t have it somehow.
Yet we have now over 200 billion total for Ukraine?

You’re do smart. If they come back for 60 billion 10 more times are we required to give 60 billion 10 more times? This is the 3rd time they get 10s of billions....

I can’t wait until the next one in December. 60 billion doesn’t go as far as it used to.

“America First” is an interesting phrase. That was the theme of the Neutrality Acts. The Neutrality Act of 1935 crippled the Allied rearmament of 1939, denying as it did even commercial credit, as did the Congressional override of the extension of “cash and carry” in March 1939. France in particular was hard hit as it was behind in its own industrial reforms and was dependent on purchases from the US.

Arms sales were allowed again, on a cash basis, in Nov 1939 (the third Neutrality act), but with lead times, it was too late for France in May 1940. French ports were choked with recently arrived US arms and supplies that were trickling to the front. Too late.

This was a gross US strategic error. May 1940 overturned the world order and made it a world war.

It did make Stalin both happy and nervous btw. You should research your own side.
