Ukraine’s Zelensky ‘Personally’ Thanks Mike Johnson for $61 Billion Gift from U.S. Taxpayers
Breitbart ^ | 04/20/2024

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky said he was “personally” grateful to “Speaker Mike Johnson for the decision that keeps history on the right track” after Johnson shepherded a $61 billion Ukraine aid package through the House Saturday.

The image of scores of Democrats waving Ukraine flags and cheering on the House floor as the bill passed will forever sting the conservatives from whose ranks Johnson rose, only to serve them with the ultimate betrayal.

I support Mike Johnson, as most here on FR do. The hand wringers and bed wetters are unhappy, but they always are.

#5: “John Boehner, Paul Ryan, Kevin McCarthy, Mike Johnson...it never ends. The hits just keep on coming.:”

Young Guns Part Deux.

Sickening. Yes, it never ends. They are too entrenched. Even the elections are frauds.

> Supporting Ukraine is the right thing to do. <

I agree, but probably not the way you’d want. As I noted here many times, I consider Putin to be a war criminal. His invasion was a needless escalation.

But Ukraine should NOT be supported by the United States. We have no vital interest there. So best wishes, but not one dime from us.

Ukraine should be supported by Europe. It’s not 1945 anymore. Europe now is plenty rich. And Ukraine is in their backyard. Let Europe handle it. Or not. It’s none of our business.

As to NATO expansion East, this war and the deaths and misery is on our heads.

I think we should have done more to be on good terms with Russia in the '90s.

But what's done is done.

Now we have to stand up to Putin.

We're not supporting them. We're pushing them to continue a proxy war they can't win. More Ukrainians will die needlessly and Ukraine will lose more territory.

Anyone that doesn't realize is either delusional or an imbecile.

Which are VAST majority, the ones that believe in putting America First and abandoning neocon foreign policy.

They don’t care. It’s all about worshipping the MIC so they can pilfer the US Treasury.

It’s just sick.

I dream of a day when our representation waves actual American flags.

There is historical precedent. Read what happened in Europe during the 1930’s.

You're what happens when a simpleton reads history... while the Biden Republicans rob or kids.

Look everyone, the Banderites will steal half the money, and use the rest on the battlefield wunderwaffen until the Russian Federation blows it all to hell and the stench from the mountains of dead soldiers reeks to high heaven. Russia will gain ground, capture cities and drag Europe further into recession. Sooner that you think the cash will be gone and the beggar of Kiev will be back asking for more. Maybe then congress will find the testosterone to say no.

They know it. They just don’t care.

They are fine with it if it inflicts some military damage on Russia... no matter how many Ukrainians die.

WW2 is not the only war in history.

Read about the July Crisis, where a minor border war escalated into a world war, and destroyed a continent.

We have out of control homelessness in this nation. We have out of control inflation that’s causing more homelessness along with the inability buy food. We have hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants pouring over the borders bringing with them more crime and straining the housing AND food situations and depleting charity food pantries even further.

AND THESE RETARDED MORONS PASSED NOT ONE IOTA OF LEGISLATION TO HELP ANY OF THIS AND GAVE 60 BILLION DOLLARS TO FUND OBAMAS PLAY WAR!

There must be a reckoning.

If it’s so important that we have to stop Putin then we need to have boots on the ground instead of throwing TRILLIONS of dollars at a country that’s becoming increasingly corrupt and totalitarian and that obviously does NOT have the manpower to repel the Russian army.
