MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Memphis Police are responding to reports of multiple people shot in Orange Mound.

Viewer videos from the scene showed dozens of gunshots fired as a crowd gathered at the Orange Mound Community Center. People could be seen running for cover.

I went to CBHS and CBU. Wonder how any people will still choose to go to college at one of the Memphis schools, or many other urban schools.

A kid would be wise today to go to university in a college town like College Station, TX or University Park, PA, not in a big city.

There are probably enough delusional households to keep feeding their young students into these schools. If I personally was entering college again I'd be looking at Berry College in Rome, GA.

CBU was a great experience when I was there between '76-'81. Memphis was much more tame in those days. After class most days I would head over to Memphis State to jog around the track they had out back.
