RFK Jr.’s candidacy may hurt Trump more than Biden in 2024, a surprising new poll says

Independent presidential hopeful Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s third-party bid could take more of a bite out of former President Donald Trump’s numbers than President Joe Biden, a new poll suggests.

Trump, 77, ekes out a win against Biden, 81, one-on-one 46% to 44%, but when Kennedy is added to the mix, Biden tops Trump at 39% to 37%, followed by Kennedy at 13%, Jill Stein at 3% and Cornel West at 2%, an NBC News poll found.

That finding goes against some other polling results and comes against the backdrop of tightening polls between the two presidents.

This is actually a punic victory because it gives more fodder for Biden to stay in the race despite foreseeable leftist political headwinds coming in May. MAGA supporters relish the idea of a Trump/Biden matchup.

Andrea Mitchell on MTP today reported Ds are seriously worried about RFK Jr hurting Biden, contrary to polling info. Once Rs vet him, they’ll not leave Trump, or even consider Kennedy.

Not sure how’s Kennedy’s lefty position affects Muslim vote in Michigan, but virtually nothing will allow that large voting block to vote Biden unless he bombs Israel.

The media tends to control the narrative. I expect a lot of questions in any debates about COVID and Vaccines and very few about climate change. They just need to make the election about things Trump and RFK dont differ on or where RFK is to the right of Trump. Who he hurts depends on what thr election is about.

Exactly-the left has formed a multi million $ pac "Defending freedom" designed to keep RFK jr off the ballot because every reliable poll shows it hurts Biden, This NBC poll is maybe the only one I have seen where it shows it helps Biden, think about it they would not still be urging RFK to drop his campaign if it hurt Trump, Even Interactive polling says says this NBC poll "contast with a number of other national polls and comes amid concerted Democratic efforts to prevent Kennedy from harming Biden's campaign" it claims 15% of Trump supporters will vote for RFK?
