McCarthy was replaced by a compromise choice of Mike Johnson. As The Who sang, “Meet the new boss, same as the old boss”, Speaker Johnson is the new boss, also pushing massive omnibus spending bills, not releasing all the January 6 entrapment evidence, supporting continued warrantless spying on Americans, and pushing endless aid to secure the borders of countries thousands of miles away from America while leaving America’s borders wide open.
He follows the pattern of past GOP Speakers – Boehner, Ryan, McCarthy, and now Johnson. It seems Republican voters continue to ask and vote for a medium rare steak only to be served a burnt, inedible slab of meat.

They wouldn’t do that and, sadly, there is always an excuse to defend a bad elected official. And besides, you don’t think a Johnson replacement would not defend against this as well?

Excellent... however FReepers and others need to understand the implications of that outcome.
If the Democrats gain control of the House prior to November, any chance of Trump taking the WH is doomed. Presuming Trump should win the 2024 POTUS election - which he seems very likely to do - the election then goes to the House for confirmation.
That has mostly been a formality but not a foregone conclusion. Sen. Chuck Schumer has just demonstrated that the Constitution must yield to Demo'Rat Party needs by refusing to give the Mayorkas impeachment a trial. Mayorkas has committed multiple crimes severely injuring the American people - human and child trafficking, thousands of fentanyl deaths, multiple murders by unvetted invaders, etc. - and yet soulless Schumer knows a trial will hurt Dem Party plans in November.
Therefore it is not unreasonable to presume that a Demo'Rat House would overturn the 2024 election results if somehow Donald Trump overcomes another crooked election.
Under those circumstances, perhaps the American people will finally realize that our Constitutional Republic was overthrown in November, 2020 and we have been living in a growing totalitarian dictatorship ever since.
What happens then will be historic - whatever the outcome.
The overriding issue for any entity or organism is self preservation. Trump, a true outsider, is an existential threat to the Deep State. Consequently, they have had to expose much of who and what they are in an effort to get rid of Trump. America, outside Washington, should be terrified at what is being revealed. It’s not too late to begin righting the ship of state, but the end of the America as we know it is pretty close.
Screaming at Johnson belies a child-like belief that the he is some sort of omnipotent Roman Judge whose word is the only law. People like that are too dim to ve allowed to vote. Perhaps because, while they were born ignorant, they were made stupid by our schools system. (with apologies to Bertrand Russell.)
The stink goes so deep. No one has been held accountable in years.. And so more joined the corruption.. It paid well. Today they all know Biden has raked in illegal payments.. It has made the Biden family wealthy. If your conscience is long gone, the temptation is too inviting to pass. Today, there still is no impeachment for Biden and the rest of them who have used their position and given out “who knows what” in exchange for millions.

True... and it is worth remembering that the Demo'Rat Party was/is the party of slavery. They dragged us into a war to try to preserve slavery and they have defended that institution ever since (KKK, civil rights, Bill of Rights, etc.) - until the attraction of global billionaire largess drew them into even more ungodly pursuits... resulting in the ultimate enslavement of everyone - except them, of course: the 'plantation owners.'
Now, just to demonstrate their autocratic nature, they force ridiculous unrealities upon us: babies are not yet humans, men can become pregnant, sex can be determined by other than natural godly means, heavy taxation leads to prosperity, 'we' are fighting to save the middle class - while constantly determined to plunder and destroy it ... down is up, evil is good, wrong is right, crime is retribution... on and on ad nauseum.
Let us defend reality here at any cost! Truth and reality always prevails - eventually.
The only solution is to take drastic measures that restores our country.. The alternative is to lose it.
Bring in the one who is not ‘one of them’. The one they have attacked mercilessly. The one who knows how to put it back together.

The scary thing about the dems gaining control of the House, and ensuring Creepy Joe’s “re-election”, is that there would be no way to stop their tyranny. “COVID” proved that the vast majority of the people are idiots, and that they are happy to accept any “new normal” that the government tyrants impose upon them. They have already acquiesced to more violations of our rights than I ever imagined. It will only get worse.
Even if DJTrump does not get Congress support, he can fix the problem by screwing the bureaucracies to the wall. Cycle each cabinet offices to other US cites — give them the income and jobs.
Cycle them all over the country every year and let the losers opt out. It will clean house. No immediate, visible impact, but it will make a difference — like his SCOTUS appts..

At this point, I would like for each of them to prove they are not being bribed by Ukraine money.
Yeah, normally it’s the other way around, but since justice has been stood on it’s head, I think it is prudent to assume that each Congressman is compromised in some fashion - either direct or indirect bribery, other behaviors held over them by the intel agencies.
