Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) took a shot at former President Donald Trump on Tuesday.
The Utah Republican Senator said of Trump’s character during an interview that aired on CNN’s “News Central” that you don’t pay someone not to have sex with you.
On the steps of Capitol Hill, speaking to CNN chief congressional correspondent Manu Raju, Romney said, “I think everybody has made their own assessment of President Trump’s character. And so far as I know, you don’t pay someone $130,000 not to have sex with you.”

Unlike Romney, I don’t care what Trump does in his private life. I already know he’ll be an effective president, so he gets my vote. Romney is worse than useless.

Trump is one of the few politicians who lost money taking the job. Lots of money. Now there’s a possibility that his son-in-law has rankered up a nice sum for his work on the Abrahamic Accord, but probably nothing like Romney, Biden, and Kerry kids have been doing....

Hilarious! That pusillanimous POS attacking President Trump’s character? There hasn’t been any Republican on Capitol Hill since McCain went to Hell who has a more shameful character than Mittens. Of course there have been and still are quite a few RINOs who are equally shameful. Speaker Mike Johnson comes readily to mind.
It's flimsy because "paying hush money to a porn star" is actually not a crime.
This being said, I have no illusions that Trump is far from saintly. I'm sure he's bedded plenty of beautiful women, three of which were his wives, and many more who weren't.
And perhaps he even bedded a few uglies such as Stormy Daniels.
