Anyone want to guess how soon we hear "Atlantis" and this discovery in the same sentence?

I think this is very intriguing, but I have a hard time imagining that something 2,100 feet below sea level was dry land only 6,000 years ago.

The sea levels haven't changed that much during this period, and I don't know of a theory that could account for such a rapid decline in elevation. Certainly not one that could leave structures intact.

Thanks for the post. I believe there has been a more recent update, sometime this year but, It does not say much more than this article. This Link has a little more detail but it is from 2001 also. I'm getting a little frustrated with these guys.

Here's another underwater city that is 9,500 years old.

Lost Civilisation From 7,500BC Discovered Off Indian Coast

Does everyone remember that we were all taught that civilization, writing and etc. began in Mesopotamia?

Absolutely, positively, the last of the old topics about underwater cities. I hope. :') Not pinging the list, just adding to the catalog.

The continent of Atlantis was an island which lay before the great flood in the area we now call the Atlantic Ocean.
