'Sextionary' Defines Planned Parenthood's Agenda for Teens

(CNSNews.com) - In an attempt to prevent America's youth from depending on "unreliable sources" for "life-saving" sexual health information, Planned Parenthood Federation of America has launched its 'Sextionary' to serve as the Internet's authoritative sex education destination.

Utilizing cartoon-like animation to depict sexually oriented issues in a "fun" manner, Planned Parenthood boasts that the Sextionary "engages teens in a process that allows them to learn about sexuality." And, the pro-abortion group assures young visitors that it's providing "sexuality and relationship information that you can trust."

The Sextionary offers teens a variety of interactive options that attempt to define a wide array of sexual health terms and issues that Planned Parenthood claims are "commonly misunderstood." Visitors are prompted to click a puzzle icon to play "Games," a movie camera to view "Movies," and a treasure chest to take "Quizzes."

Homosexual Advocacy Games

The only one way to win the game entitled, "Jim Dandy and His Very Gay Day," is to agree with Planned Parenthood's pro-homosexual agenda.

According to an animated alien that narrates the game, "Being gay is a little like being left-handed; it's not something that you choose, it's simply the way you are. And the way you are is perfectly fine, no matter which hand you write with, no matter who you're attracted to."

In order to progress to the next level in this game, players are given unlimited opportunities to select the "correct" answer to questions such as: "People who are sexually attracted to people of both genders are often called ..."

Upon selecting "Bisexuals," teens are rewarded with the knowledge that: "Having crushes on and having sex with both guys and girls is perfectly normal. People who are attracted to people of both genders sometimes call themselves 'bisexual.'"

Movies With a Message

Planned Parenthood offers seven unique short films that deal with issues concerning homosexuality; HIV and AIDS; abstinence and peer pressure; sexually transmitted infections; and contraception.

Planned Parenthood peer educators wrote "Lipstick" as a short documentary celebrating a high school girl's courage to be open about her homosexuality. "\plain\lang1024\f2

Emily's a lot like her high school friends, but she steps out from the pack when she introduces them to her girlfriend," the preview states.

Another featured film entitled, "The Monster," attempts to give teens a "glimpse into the world of guys" by highlighting issues dealing with the stigma attached to HIV status. Planned Parenthood notes that the informational movie was written by incarcerated youth at Rikers Island, N.Y.

Pro-Abortion Quiz

The "Facts About Abortion Quiz" offers an opportunity for guys and girls to test their knowledge and "learn some important information about abortion."

Question: "Worldwide, how many women will have an abortion by the time they are 45 years old?"

Answer: "Nearly half of all women will have an abortion by the time they are 45 years old. About five million women in the U.S. become pregnant every year. Half of those pregnancies are unintended, and 1.2 million end in abortion."

Question: "If I decide to have an abortion, do I have to tell my parents about my decision, or get their permission?"

Answer: "While more than half of the teenagers who choose abortion talk about it with at least one parent, telling a parent is only required in states with mandatory parental involvement laws. The Supreme Court has ruled, however, that there must be another option to parental notification or consent for a minor. It is called 'judicial bypass.' In judicial bypass, a judge can either rule that the young woman is mature enough to make this decision without a parent's consent, or that she is not mature enough to make this decision without informing them."

'Sesame Street With Sex'

Andrea Lafferty, executive director of the Traditional Values Coalition, said Planned Parenthood's Sextionary is "the kind of thing they would do on Sesame Street ... but Sesame Street with sex."

Lafferty said she was outraged when she clicked on a "factoid" intended to provide teenage boys with in-depth information about "performance anxiety," a term defined as the "fear of being unable to please a partner sexually."

"I would love to take this 'performance anxiety' clip and show it to parents across the country and see what they say," Lafferty said. "It reinforces the point that we've made that Planned Parenthood is about promoting sex. They're sex peddlers."

Lafferty condemned Planned Parenthood for "desensitizing" teenagers to the seriousness of sex.

"They think that they're cute," she said. "I think most parents would be shocked by this."

The only way to stop planned parenthood is to expose the politicians who approve Title X money and the corporations who donate money to them, otherwise nothing will ever happen. My county Right to Life committee will not do protests or sidewalk counseling at the planned parenthood centers in my county. It's a shame, doing mailing exposing this stuff is just not enough.

Now that the Republicans are in complete control, will they stop my tax dollars from going to this group that not only hates the unborn, but hates the GOP?I pray so. But not only do I want to see them defunded, I want to see them charged, tried, and convicted for crimes against humanity.

Not likely, especially when Republican leaders, like pro-abort Tom Davis, are willing to fund pro-abort Republican candidates, i.e., Rayes of Maine, who lost to a pro-life democrat (http://www.sunjournal.com/story.asp?slg=091502Abortion).

And read, ‘GOP warned to take it easy - Right-wing wish list cited as danger to party’ – Chicago Tribune (must register to read article - http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/chi-0211100503nov10.story). Here is an excerpt:

By Jill Zuckman Washington Bureau Published November 10, 2002

WASHINGTON -- Now that Republicans will control the House, Senate and White House, everyone from religious conservatives to anti-tax activists to business leaders has begun urging the GOP to push ahead on their pet causes, demanding results as a reward for their loyalty.

But some conservative activists and Republicans are worried that the pressure to quickly satisfy important but narrow GOP constituencies could result in political harm to their party and ultimately their cause.

The last thing the party needs looking toward the next election in 2004 is an extremist image that could prompt voters to turn back to the Democrats, they said…

I hope and pray that Bush does the right thing. We must put pressure on Republicans to defend their party’s platform:
That is why we say the unborn child has a fundamental individual right to life which cannot be infringed... We oppose using public revenues for abortion and will not fund organizations which advocate it." - http://www.rnc.org/GOPInfo/Platform/2000platform4.htm

"The original plan of Planned Parenthood was to get rid of "undesirables"...

Margaret Sanger, founder of PP was a real piece of work. After returning to America from France she established the American Birth Control League (later PP) and began editing and writing for the, "Birth Control Review". In the May 1919 issue she wrote, "More children from the fit, less from the unfit-that is the chief issue of birth control." The motto on the masthead of the Dec. 1921 issue said, "To create a race of thoroughbreds."

There are many shocking quotes attributed to her. Interestingly enough, you have to go to microfiche at libraries to read alot of it.

I don't know how to link sites but there is a website of her quotes at http://www.pop.org/students/bcrquot1.html

(Well, according to my hubby, I guess I just linked it and didn't even know that I did. ) :)

Our young people are routinely ranked lowest among industrialized nations in knowledge of science, history and mathematics

Seems about right since their baby boomer parents are deficient in these areas too. One question, why are we so mathphobic as a nation?

The taxpayers, of course. And while they're out warping our children, we're supposed to shut up because we 'don't understand' and might 'try to force our opinions' on our own children. But "it's normal" for these sick games.

And they're still trying to teach this crap to third and fourth graders.

Pro-Life Policies Quashed
By Charles R. MiVille, Washington, D.C., correspondent

Pro-life issues have taken a beating in Congress. One amendment recently went down to defeat, and two others were withdrawn before they ever received a vote.

In his campaign for president, then-Gov. George W. Bush pledged his support for funding abstinence education equal to so-called "safe sex" programs. Rep. Ernest Istook, R-Okla., seized the challenge, offering an amendment to the annual funding bill for the Labor, Health and Human Services and Education (Labor/HHS/Education) departments. However, Istook's amendment was crushed in a 106-311 House vote two weeks ago, amid a purported desire among many lawmakers to finish appropriations bills without any additional controversial amendments.

That sentiment apparently impacted two other amendments that never even made it to a vote. One, sponsored by Rep. David Vitter, R-La., would have banned federal "family planning" funds from flowing to abortion providers. Michael Schwartz, vice president of government relations for Concerned Women for America, believes the public is strongly in favor of stopping family planning funds from going to abortionists.

"It is something that is in keeping with the whole point of the family planning program," Schwartz said. "After all, why should we be funding abortionists?"

He noted, however, that Congressman Ralph Regula, chairman of the subcommittee that oversees the Labor/HHS/Education appropriations bill, went to extraordinary lengths to line up votes against the Vitter amendment. Faced with such opposition, Vitter pulled the amendment, vowing to try again next year.

Schwartz said Vitter really had no choice.

Rep. Melissa Hart, R-Pa., also planned to offer her amendment banning federal funds to public schools if they distribute "morning after" pills to students. Before she could offer the amendment, however, House Speaker Dennis Hastert asked her to withdraw it before it came up for a vote.

Hastert reportedly promised Hart a House vote on her legislation at some future time.

Meantime, John Paulton, of Focus on the Family, says pro-lifers have to get busy, "basically to show the elected officials in Congress that the American people won't stand silently by while abortion is funded by their tax dollars."
