An Open Letter To The Anti-War Protesters:
Thank You! I give all credit for the recent surge in patriotic displays by loyal Americans that support our country, our troops, and our president to you. Were it not for your constant displays of anti-American behavior, the silent majority might have remained silent, expressing their support solely via the ballot box. However, we are now seeing them speak out, we are seeing a resurgance of patriotic display unseen since 9-11.
Your vocal opposition to this war, first peaceful but now becoming more violent, has been grossly mis-informed and irresponsible. Your actions place those of us at home in harm's way by tying up our police and emergency resources. Your message places our troops in harm's way because you embolden our enemies. Our enemies witness your rallies, they witness your fervent anti-Americanism and they mistakenly believe you speak for the American public. Our enemies thus doubt our resolve to see this thru. This could not be further from the truth.
You've galvanized American support for Operation Iraqi Freedom. My heart swells with pride to witness my fellow Americans displaying their patriotism on the streets and in the newspapers. The silent majority are no longer willing to remain silent. I attribute this to your constant displays of anti-American behavior. While I feel nothing but utter contempt for your behavior during this time of crisis, I have to thank you as well.
