Correct me if I am wrong, but did not Ms Sawyer ask Ann Coulter, sharp witted pundit by profession, about "sparring" with Clinton?
As I recall, Ann responded something to the effect of "she has a 3-1 (weight) advantage".
Now shallow libereral minds might fixate on physical weight, and sence a catfight, but those who admire AC for her sharp wit, probably picked up on the reference as intended.
A political pundit- against a former first lady, a sitting Senator, and an author whose work has been hyped for over a year by every known media outlet in a way normal authors could only dream of- is accused of sparring?
I see a 3-1 weight advantage.
The way the question was phrased left the Queen of one liners with an irresistable opening in a double entendre, and she took it, natuarally!
Poor little Ms Sawyer, and you, took it as a cheap shot, huh?
I dont consider myself brighter than the next light, and I only "get" about 1/2 of Dennis Miller's one liners, but even I caught Ann this time on multiple levels immediately.
Shame on Diane Sawyer,if she actually got flustered.
Perhaps she is too familiar with Hillary Rules, and forgot who she was interviewing.
Or, if you think Ms Sawyer is so great, perhaps not...
If one attempts a half-baked battle of wits with one who is a true expert in the field...
And we all knew any interview with Ann was a battle...
To put it nicely:
Diane Sawyer should not have attempted to turn an interview into a gunfight, armed only with a knife.
Has she ever interviewed Dennis Miller?

I considered that angle as well.
