A dear friend's only daughter was taken into the hospital for an emergency C-section this morning. The child's heart had stopped beating and the baby wasn't breathing. The child was put on life support and was last listed in critical and unstable condition. She has since been life flighted to Tulane, and my friend is currently making the drive to New Orleans to be with her grand daughter. PLEASE pray for this little child!
Agreeing in prayer for Grace.
At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, and said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
What sad news. Prayers continue...
It is with deepest sadness that I let you know that carried by angels and lifted up by your many prayers, little Grace was taken home this afternoon.
I have been told that she had the most beautiful little green eyes, which Im quite certain are gazing down on us now as she bathes in the perfect light and perfect love of Heaven.
The family and those of us close to her will carry her in our hearts forever, as we will the gratitude we feel for the support and comfort you have given us during this past week. In a world that seems to grower darker every day, she has been, and continues to be a radiant light and a reminder that life, though fragile is at the same time, the most precious and powerful of gifts with which we are endowed.
Grace's grandmom who has read through your replies periodically during the course of the week asked me to communicate her gratitude, as well as that of little Grace for your compassion and kindness.
I am so very sorry for your loss and will pray for comfort and strength. Know that Christ welcomed Grace with open arms.
Prayers for all involved Joe, my deepest condolences.

Rest in peace little one. May your memory and Our Heavenly Father bring comfort to all those who knew and loved you.
Your power brings us to birth,
Your providence guides our lives,
and by Your command we return to dust.
Lord, those who die still live in Your presence,
their lives change but do not end.
I pray in hope for my family,
relatives and friends,
and for all the dead known to You alone.
In company with Christ,
Who died and now lives,
may they rejoice in Your kingdom,
where all our tears are wiped away.
Unite us together again in one family,
to sing Your praise forever and ever.
Amen.
I am so very sorry Joe. I know the family is saddened & no doubt exhausted with all the stress.
We know where little Grace is & we know there will be a reunion but right now it is doggone hard to deal with this terrible loss
Grace. RIP.
Almighty God, Father of mercies and giver of all comfort; Deal graciously, we pray thee, with all those who mourn, that, casting every care on thee, they may know the consolation of thy love; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Amen.
I am so very sorry...
Beyond words. Prayers for the family and friends and all who participated in this vigil. Thank you for letting us know, Joe.
Oh Joe....I’m SO saddened to read this...Please pass along our condolences to Grace’s family.
She’s in Heaven. With Jesus. She IS His girl, He’s holding her right now...He loves her so much.
So hard, so very very hard for all of us left behind....
So very sorry that your little angel Grace was called home to the Lord.
Deepest condolences.
I’m so sorry. Prayers on the way.
Prayers for Grace’s mom and dad.
And for you grandparents too.
Their precious angel will always watch over them. She has completed her earthly task and touched so many.
Condolences to her family as they have to say good-bye for now.
Dear Lord God,
Do bless Joe for bringing to us Grace’s plight and that of her fmaily and firends, that we have been privledged to unite in prayer for all. We thank you that Grace is now with you and all her suffering is gone...a complete healing in every sense of the word. May your name be high and lifted up.
Still Lord, there are those of family and friends who now need the comfort of heart only you can give,.....tender moments ...tender hearts. May your abiding presence touch each one as they make preparations and mourn this great loss. ....but especially that of Grace’s mother Lord, may the wound of her heart not lay too low for too long, and that you would go before her as she moves now thru the hard days and weeks ahead. Hold her tenderly Lord and walk her steps for her when the way seems to difficult for her.
Thanking you for all which has been and will be accomplished in your will for each.
In Jesus name, Amen
