Personally as a Catholic I go to Mass to hear the word of God and readings from the Bible. I don’t want or need to hear from the Koran for any reason. Its just a bunch of PC BS. It needs to be nipped in the bud.

Much to probably some people’s objections, I would leave mass immediately. I would simply walk out. Not sure if some would consider it rude behavior but I personally don’t see the Koran reading as spiritual or spreading the word of God.
In general, I agree; but I’ve got to say that my initial knowledge of the evils of communism came from the pulpit, and that wasn’t even a religion! Granted, the lessons concerned the necessity of atheism as a factor. But of course this was all pre-Vatican II when sermons were far more *interesting* than they are now.
Some Catholics, along with some Christians, could use a little education on the evils of Islam. I’ve met more than a few who defend it because of its “orthodoxy” and “recognition” of Christ and Mary. That “little knowledge” is dangerous indeed and could be corrected at the altar.
Why? He cancelled the event.

...the man is an ignorant idiot. instead of worrying about Muslims who “tell” him they are afraid, he SHOULD be worrying about Coptic Christians, and others, who are being KILLED by Muslims, wherever Islam is the law.
the Quran is literally the religion of the devil, not a man. ANY Christian who reads ahadith, Sira, and Quran, can easily see this. (An Angel who terrorizes and chokes a mortal? that’s what Mo himself said Gabriel did to him! Even odd things like music is “haram” (remember psalms talking about music and satan?)
...and i’m an ordinary guy. but (long story) i was INSIDE a masjid, at a regional tri-state “Dawa” meeting. i know EXACTLY what they think about these “interfaith” events.
and, they teach that ALL Christians after Mo, go to hell. Only the “Children of the Book” BEFORE him, can go to Heaven.
they teach that NO government is legitimate, unless it follows Sharia law. that Jews, apostates, and gays should be killed. and much more. in their OWN literature.
THAT is what should be read, to help people understand the very real danger.
if our own PRIESTS don’t know this (and more!), then God help us, because otherwise, our descendants will wear burkas.
