President Joe Biden congratulated House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) on being elected to the position Saturday, saying he is ready to work across the aisle in a divided government. “The American people expect their leaders to govern in a way that puts their needs above all else, and that is what we need to do now,” Biden said in a statement, congratulating him on his speakership. “As I said after the midterms, I am prepared to work with Republicans when I can and voters made clear that they expect Republicans to be prepared to work with me as well,” he...

Obama's transformation of America into a corrupt political cess pool transformed the Department of Justice into the Department of Injustice After Sen. Jeff Sessions was nominated by President Trump to lead the Department of Justice, Sessions faced a firestorm of Democrat questions and one major demand; that he not interfere in the Democrat’s efforts to overturn the election of President Trump. To everyone’s surprise, Sessions rolled over like a dog, took his treat and turned the Democrat’s plan to frame President Trump over to Rot Rosenstein. In turn, Rotten Rosenstein immediately picked his fellow swamp rat Bob Mueller to pick...

There is no such thing as bipartisanship anymore. Bipartisanship has come to mean one thing: The Democrats get what they want. And we're fed up, and we're certainly not happy and thrilled to hear that that is a resume enhancement for electability. He said it. "I can reach across the aisle, and I can work with the Democrats." Yeah, we know that. And what do you ever get for it? What does the Republican Party get for all of your working with the Democrats? Versus what do they get. They're going to get their global warming deal. They're going to...

Say hello to your new rip-off priced incandescent bulbs. Two of these go for $3.29 at Home Depot, I saw them yesterday. This year you must pay $3.29 for 2 bulbs that put out the same light as ye old 100watt bulbs but consume only 72 watts to do so. 28% energy savings says the box

WASHINGTON – A White House official says President Barack Obama and House Speaker John Boehner will play a round of golf together later this month. Obama and Boehner — both avid golfers — will hit the links June 18. No word on where the round will take place, or whether they'll be joined by any colleagues. The president's invitation comes as Boehner has urged Obama to take a more active role in the ongoing negotiations over how to reduce the nation's deficit. Vice President Joe Biden has been leading bipartisan negotiations, but those talks appear stalled.
  • CA: Governor reaches a bit too far across the aisle (Gubinor embraces Nicole Parra's ballot measure)

SACRAMENTO -- It was one of those "oops!" moments everybody should have seen coming. But not everybody did, at least on Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's staff. In one of a series of media events he held last week to polish his law-and-order credentials for his re-election campaign, the Republican governor announced he planned to sponsor a "Crime Victims Bill of Rights." It seemed like a run-of-the-mill event until Democratic Assemblywoman Nicole Parra put out a press release a couple of hours before the governor's Tuesday event in Oakland, announcing she planned to attend and "present" her proposed ballot measure that would...
  • Reaching Out to the Other Side: From Right to Left

    11/08/2004 4:10:28 PM PST · by dandelion · 2 replies · 298+ views
Indeed, another election has come and gone; the winner has once again been declared "Republican" and the loser has been declared "Democrat". Now is traditionally the time for the Right and the Left to come together, presumably out of mutual love for America. We on the Right have reached out in the past in an attempt to shore up the sagging walls of our venerable two-party system, viewing it as necessary to the Republic. And so it is with deepest feeling that I reach out to the Democratic Left and say: You Bastards. It was not enough that you blamed...
