Police in Monroe County Pa., have arrested a man in the fatal stabbings of four sleeping students at the University of Idaho last month. Police in Stockton, Calif., say a suspect has been arrested in a series of killings that rattled nearby communities. A man who works for the sergeant-at-arms of the U.S. House of Representatives has been arrested and charged with 10 felonies related to the possession of child pornography. Fairfax County police arrested Stefan Bieret, 41, of Burke, Va., on Wednesday, and he was arraigned on Thursday. He was being held without bond and is expected back in court next month. Police said the investigation began when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children was notified of a potentially illicit image uploaded to a Dropbox account and reported the matter to a task force on Internet crimes against children.
