It really does depend on what stage it’s in. I’d be interested in knowing that before they call it “treatable”. Lung cancer is a tough cookie to beat, and unfortunately it’s very fond of metastasizing to the brain.

It was discovered as a result of a case of bronchitis that wasn’t responding to treatment. My doc ordered a chest X-ray, and the darn thing was there. The came the CAT Scan, PET Scan, and biopsy. My oncologist didn’t fool around. Since there was no metastasis or lymph node problem, he and the surgeon said “Out with the darn thing!”
I think chest X-rays should be part of annual physicals. Early detection is so critical.
I wish her luck. I was diagnosed with lung cancer last year. Fortunately, they found it very early (stage 1A) and they were able to remove the tumor surgically. They removed the upper lobe of my right lung. A year and 6 months later, I’m still cancer free.
Cancer sucks ... I hope she recovers succesfully and loses her seat in an election!

Thank you for sharing that ... I too dislike when names of holidays are changed. Armistice Day sounds much more defining than the catch-all Veteran’s Day.
No, it’s not just you. It bothers me to hear someone wish someone else a happy Memorial Day. There is nothing happy about the day. It is a solemn day, but most people, when asked, can tell you the difference between Memorial Day and Veteran’s Day.

You are absolutely correct. The Perfumed Princes of the Pentagon classified the attack as “workplace violence”, which is even more offensive and a slap in the face to those this animal mowed down ... all while chanting Allahu Akhbar or whatever the hell it is they chant.
