it doesn't matter if the doctor was an activist or not, the people voted (prop 215) to let doctors prescribe cannabis as necessary. Do states rights still exist? not when a California judge is a pussy and bows down to federal law.

I don't usually post, but I happen to be an expert on the Kimberly wilderness. I went on an expedition in 2000 which began at the Drysdale Station, we floated on canoes for 250 kilometers, with no sign of human activity except for aborigional rock art...some of which was dated as being 40,000 years old. The best use for this region, in my opinion, would be eco-tourism. We all know this is a growing industry, and the Kimberly offers spectacular unadulterated Australian beauty. I doubt the Australian public would be keen to set up another uranium mine there either. Ozzy Ozzy Ozzy Oy Oy Oy!

In Australia, the Bradshaw-period red ochre rock drawings I've seen date back to 40,000 BC. They are elongated paintings of humans, animals and symbols. The techniques they used permieated the ink inches deep in the rock, and are still unknown.

Is there any state legally distributing "medicinal" marijuana? Does having a prescription for marijuana make it any more legal than just seeking it out on your own?

I am a medical Marijuana parient from Long Beach, CA. I got it prescribed for chronic back pain. The state of California distributes no pot, However co-operatives run by medical marijuana patients sell pot legally to other patients. Ordinary patients can get "caregiver" status meaning they can grow pot not just for their own use, but for as many patients as they can prove they supply to. Being a medical Marijuana patient does afford special rights...you are allowed to buy and sell pot with impunity from other patients, and you can grow pot for personal use, even in California. I go to the Inglewood Medical Marijuana co-op and buy medical grade bud with my credit card. The only bummer is it costs more than it does on the street. $65 and eighth versus $50. Hope I could enlighten some who didn't know that a medical marijuana perscription is a get out of jail card!
