This morning I listened to Dr. David Jeremiah's sermon on John 3:16 on http://www.oneplace.com/. In his sermon, Dr. Jeremiah mentioned the numerous "John 3:16" signs displayed by football fans in the stands. He also mentioned Tim Tebow's writing that verse reference on his eyeblack. Tebow is as identified with "John 3:16" as he is with kneeling in the end zone.

Like watching a slow motion train wreck, Ashley Judd's tirade mesmerized me for a good portion of her rant. I was finally able to Click away, but remained deeply upset by it since yesterday. That woman is seriously crazy! I am not referencing her beliefs, though they are full bore looney. What is disturbing is her non-stop vehemence.

It has been rumored off and on over the years that various big automakers are secretly at work on a flying car, and this week patent drawings emerged that show some ideas from Toyota’s drawing board. The patent application, which is dated Sept. 3, shows drawings of a car with four “stackable wings.” The wings, which will be short enough that they don’t protrude from the sides of the roof, can be deployed in various configurations for different phases of flight, from takeoff to cruise. The car also would have three rotors — two horizontal and one vertical.

The National Air Traffic Controllers Association is suggesting the FAA rethink its new ATC hiring protocol after the first attempt netted only a fraction of the controller trainee candidates it expected. As we reported in February, the agency revised its recruitment policies in the hopes of attracting a more diverse pool of prospective controllers.
