Such reckless fascism will be a stain on their reputations forever. We knew well before these mandates that the decision on whether to vaccinate or not was very personal & did not impact other people. Personally, I chose to get vaccinated. But I cannot impose such a decision on other people.

De Wine is correct. The Ohio GOP should not join the chorus of groups/people who have been trying to destroy the rights of US citizens to be able to have a real choice in the 2024 Elections. This “we have to destroy democracy to save democracy” philosophy is absurd. The voters should decide, not some corrupt officials in NY, GA, Biden DOJ, and elsewhere.

    1. Enforce EVerify and cut off all welfare benefits (including to the Sanctuaries) & the violators will mostly self-deport.

    2. Offer an Amnesty program that is at least 3x the cost of the legal route for those 5+ years in America & otherwise no Felonies or violent misdemeanors. Reduce the cost to 1.5x if they go home & do the process.

Forcibly removing over 10M people would be unrealistic. The amount of violence this would directly cause would be the most devastating police state violence action in history. Such a path would guarantee the destruction of the USA. It’s best to focus on deporting the violent felons and keeping Naturalization & access to public safety nets for those who obey the laws.

The wedding date may need to be adjusted to accommodate the court calendar. It’s not just the date that could be needing adjustments. The music too will need adjustments. Does anyone have the music sheets for “Here comes the bride, all dressed in orange”? Does the prison cafeteria make wedding cakes? Planning a wedding when the Bride is a teacher is harder today than how things were in the good old days.

The Republicans should realize that the key to them winning Elections is to bring in refugees from the Democrats into their tent. Here is the most common way it happens.

    Little Johnny goes to college.

Johnny becomes an idealistic Liberal and votes for the Dems.

Johnny graduates from college and starts getting paychecks.

Johnny starts questioning the corruption of the tax & spend Democrats.

    Johnny becomes a Republican.

What has Europe done to prepare? The invasion started over 25 months ago. Why were they putting so much trust in a regime that is over 30 trillion in the hole? People who think the USA should police the world should have thought of planning better over 30 trillion dollars ago.

Anytime you kill the sons, daughters, parents, or spouses of other people you are creating a huge risk of retaliation for your own self-destruction. The best thing for Israel to do is learn their lessons on the missiles that got through and learn everything they can about the ones that were launched. They should be very careful about escalation.

Aren’t the Illegals entitled to each get as many Aspen cabins as they want because Colorado is now such a wonderful Sanctuary? And I am not talking about any cheap cabins. These guests will want the best.

Just make sure we have a strong firewall in place to protect the federal Treasury from these sanctuaries.

They should have a Premier Leauge of 24 schools and a Secondary Leaugue of 24 more schools & the rest try to compete to get into the Secondary league.

Every year you have a scoring system based on the last 3 years where the 3 with the most losses points (not counting playoffs) the previous 4 years get kicked out and the Secondary champion & 2 other highest wins points get put into the Premier League.

For the Secondary League you could have the rotation be 4 instead of 3. That way this Secondary Leaugue would have an annual turnover of 7 - 3 up to Premier, 4 down to 1A, and 7 incoming (3 from Premier, 4 from 1A)

The division 1A should have 4 bowl games where the top 8 of wins for the previous 4 years in 1A get to play & the winners go to the Secondary Leaugue the next season.

The power generation market should also go hybrid and be ready to handle at least 48 hours of no wind, hydro, or solar power generation. It’s absurd the ideas being implemented that don’t account for the risks of renewable power generation sources. It’s as if they really have some other agenda in mind besides the environment.

  • Was Vietnam worth the cost?

Every major War that the US has been involved in the past 120 uears should have been avoided by the US military, and that includes Vietnam. America didn’t know what they were doing in Vietnam. America still doesn’t know what they had been doing in Vietnam. How well have Americans ever understood Vietnamese culture? Do they have any awareness of how strong the influene of Champa/Hinduism was in the past & some Confucianism persisting today & how dominant Budhism is now? Do they even understand the tenets of those religions, both the good and the bad? What about understanding the mindsets due to the periods of domination by the Chinese, French, and their fears of the Americans doing the same in the 1950s forward? Do they realize how the modern comforts in America throughout the 20th century such as electricity, phones, radio, and TV/internet were completely unavailable in most Vietnamese communities until the 1990s? And were Americans truly aware of how corrupt the system/officials were in South Vietnam in the 1954-1975 era? And do Americans really understand how fiercely independent/freedom minded the Vietnamese people were before, during, and after the War & how that continues to this day?

The Vietnamese have long ago moved past the War towards the future. But they have many scars still remaining on how it slowed them down in their development and how much it touched so many lives in horrific ways. Most of the vilages lost the majority of their young men, especially in the areas where you had the conflict - i.e. in the South with the Viet Cong always persistent and united with the North in the mission to unify the country under the government in Ha Noi.

The biggest challenges they face now are these:
    1. They are still a developing nation with many infrastructure & norms (like streets/sanitation) with a way to go to be efficient/quality.
    2. Their ability for institutions/infrastructure to adapt with the times & develop more quickly is greatly hindered due to them not having effective feedback channels. For an example on this watch how things have often worked in America when a politician comes out with a new policy that has flaws & feedback comes quickly & they need to answer hard questions. In the US there’s the First Amendment. In Vietnam there’s the government.

The best thing for America to do about Vietnam is as follows:
    1. Continue to do as is being done with bilateral relations & this is one of the areas where I’m quite impressed with both parties & the diplomats in State.gov on how they handle things with Vietnam now and for the future. Keep it up.
    2. Learn the lessons on Vietnam now for other countries - starting with Ukraine, Israel, Gaza, Yemen/Houthis, and Taiwan. Tell your people the truth. That was the #1 fatal flaw with Vietnam. Our government didn’t tell us the truth. And the American people should have been getting well-educated on how determined the Vietnamese really were in the North & among the Viet Cong to have this unified country & what level of sacrifice it would have taken to beat them. We see that happening with Russia/Ukraine right now. How many Americans are aware that the Russians are increasing military spending by 70% per annum now? Don’t they know what that means?

Top to bottom there must be a merit-only process in place for hiring, promoting, assigning, unassigning, and terminating people on anything. As soon as “Merit-Only” is compromised then the organization is more susceptible to failures like occurred.

Personally I’m a believer that having Diversity is a very good thing. But it needs to be used for ENCOURAGING people in unrepresented groups to upskill and to seek opportunities for growth. It doesn’t mean they will get selected for every opportunity they try to get. Even when they fail on an interview they’ll have learned some lessons and be better able to try for future opportunities with better ability to succeed.

It could be called racist ti call it an undocumented mechanic verification job sccording to our new overlords of woke world. Documentation is just something that people who believe in law/order follow. In our new Woke Amerixa its anything goes. And if some mechanic verification doesn’t get their job done then yeah we’ll have bridges collapse and Hispanic family men killed. But the champions of undocumented things will keep on getting more wokr and turning America more chaotic.
