Links to the "Beach Impeach" site were frequent on Dem. Underground last week. As if their Bush-hatred wasn't bad enough, their "christmas carols" page really takes the cake. Where does one start? The misappropriation of Xmas Carols? The misspelling of "Antarctica?" The fact that polar bears don't live in Antarctica? Although the first carol was amusing unschooled piffle, the rest unfortunately are pure Bush-hatred and 9/11 conspiracy-theorist dreck. Must the Dems pander to such pitiful self-demeaning wingnuttery?

Kyoto's carbon-credit system subverted via cheating: Chemical producers in Kyoto "poor countries," seeking to double their salable CO2 credit allotments, are scamming the UN's Kyoto carbon credit system. In addition to this intentional cheating, the byproducts are ozone-depleting chemicals, counter-productive to Montreal Protocol's goal to preserve ozone layer. By intentionally exploiting loopholes in the credit allotment scheme to combat certain refrigerants classified as greenhouse gases, chemical firms in Kyoto "poor nations" get paid to destroy the very chemicals they're intentionally manufacturing in their clever shell game. Kyoto can be seen as a scheme that has inadvertently accelerated globalization. With carbon-credit...

Overturning the conventional theory that airborne soot emissions cause regional cooling it has been found that brown coulds of airborne soot can contribute to 50 percent of atmospheric heating that had been previously blamed on CO2 emissions. Because of the worldwide scope of airborne soot - such as the vast Asian Brown Clouds - atmospheric models that ascribe certain regional warming trends only to CO2 may need revisiting. The lead researcher in this study, Prof. V. Ramanathan of the Scripps Institute commented, "The conventional thinking is that brown clouds have masked as much as 50 percent of the global warming...

    Apognosis - Iraq WMD Evidence ^ | 2005-11-27 | leebert
Apognosis - Iraq WMD Evidence "...How can anyone ignore the evidence cited by a senior counter-proliferation official that meetings did in fact occur between Niger officials and would-be buyers from Iraq, North Korea and three other countries, and that the uranium was to be mined from abandoned - and hence unregulated and unmonitored - uranium mines in Niger?" "...The US Army bomb team that investigated the device said it looked like all the other conventional munitions rigged as roadside IEDs, it bore only the markings of the conventional artillery shells they had been handling on a routine basis. It...
