When Morrill High School coach April Ott broke the news to Katrina Kohel that she was the only one left on the cheer squad, she promised her that even if she couldn’t compete at the state tournament, they could still enjoy the whole experience. They’d get fun coffee drinks, watch the more than 2,700 girls and 225 teams compete in the three-day cheer and dance competition in Grand Island and just have a good time. But Kohel, the lone senior on what had been a squad of four, had other ideas. After talking it over with her mom, Della, she...

'As we wait for these investigations to get over, I just wonder when this person will own up to their actions! And stop trying to ruin our lives!' Additionally, 73% of Americans said they experienced enjoyment for a lot of the previous day.The former is the highest rating Gallup has ever recorded on the measure dating back to when it was first taken more than 13 years ago. Among other issues, the coronavirus dominated our lives, and there was a very contentious presidential election. But...

I see a little bright red face, and his mom is holding him up begging for help, screaming, asking, 'Someone help me. Someone help me,'" Winters said. "My very, very first thought was like, 'Oh my God. I got to help this child.'" "Her kid is turning purple, so I immediately jumped off the float. If I were to tell you that a growing group of killjoys wants to ban NFL cheerleading, would you guess that this group is on the political left or right? Must be the right, right? They're the religious ones with all the sexual hang-ups. Wrong. They're on the left. And what's their problem with cheerleading? I'll let them speak for themselves. In The Boston Globe, Margery Eagan, Globe columnist and co-host of NPR's "Boston Public Radio," wrote a column titled "It's time to say goodbye to the NFL cheerleaders." She described NFL cheerleading as "creepy and demeaning." USA Today sports...

Being a bully is never a good look. Especially when you're a bully who starts fights and then proceeds to lose them. Yeah, that was not exactly a successful attempt at bullying. You know the old saying pick on someone your own size? That clearly does not need to be applied here. You'd think a typical cheerleader would have no chance when it comes to the exchanging of fists, but Savannah Sprague doesn't seem to agree with that notion. After being targeted by her bully, Sprague not only fights back, but fights back with a terrible fury.

After spending about $100 on lower-bowl tickets and driving 2½ hours from the Lafayette area, Tracey Hernandez was nervous as she took her seat near midfield of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Friday night. It wasn’t the preseason game the Saints were about to play against Arizona that worried her — the dance instructor hardly watches football. What mattered to her was how her son, Jesse, would fare in his debut as the first-ever male member of the Saintsations, New Orleans’ NFL dance team.

EAST HANOVER, N.J. – Everybody makes the team. A New Jersey high school drew heat from students and parents for a new policy that says everyone makes the cheerleading squad or no one does. According to WCBS, the change came after a mother complained that her child didn’t make the cut. To make the cheerleading squad at Hanover Park High School, prospective members go through a tryout in which coaches score them on things like jumps and choreography before making their final picks for the team. But after the mother whose daughter didn’t make the squad complained after last month’s...

The massive five state victories brought forth by Donald J. Trump last evening in Northeast states is astounding, one for the record books & history & two for the sustained strength of the Trump campaign.. Of course, Mr. Trump had much aid, assistance & direction from his two "unbalanced" opponents, Ted Cruz & John Kasich. Cruz had already sunk himself with his now infamous "New York Values" rants....which has killed him politically. a self-inflicted wound, and John Kasich, the "1 victory vs. 41 state losses", is going nowhere, fast...and the GOP POTUS Primary voters know it. And.....if I were Mr....
