“Though the change is small, it could be an indication that many believe Warren would not positively contribute to winning swing voters,” said Alex Donohue, analysts for U.S. Bookies. “It’s also worth noting that choosing other top candidates, such as [Senators] Kamala Harris or Amy Klobuchar, would not have this negative effect on Biden’s chances, and his odds would remain 13/10.”

“The Shorenstein Center up at Harvard did an analysis of all of the anti-Biden memes out there on the internet,” Mr. Hamby said. “According to them, the top three slogans they’re seeing, this is from the left and the right, are Dementia Joe, Sleepy Joe, Creepy Joe. Barack Obama reportedly said last week that his daughters had been showing him anti-Biden TikToks. Basically, there’s an entire discourse on the internet right now that’s painting you as creepy and old and out of touch and kind of lame. How do you fight back against that?” . . . “But the vast...

The declassification of material from the Michael Flynn case has exposed more chilling details of a concerted effort by prosecutors to come up with any crime to use against the former national security adviser. This week, however, a letter revealed a new unsettling detail. Among more than three dozen Obama administration officials asking to “unmask” Flynn from the investigation was former Vice President Joe Biden. This revelation came less than 24 hours after Biden denied any involvement in the investigation of Flynn. It also follows a disclosure that President Obama was following that investigation. For three years, many in the...

Former Vice President Joe Biden appeared on “Good Morning America” on ABC-TV this week and anchor George Stephanopoulos asked him a simple question: “What did you know about those moves to investigate Michael Flynn and was there anything improper done?” “I know nothing about those moves to investigate Michael Flynn,” Biden said before launching into a stumbling diatribe about how questions about the Obama administration’s targeting of Flynn – President Trump’s first national security adviser – are just a “diversion.” But Stephanopoulos – a former top aide to President Bill Clinton, with a background in Democratic politics – didn’t let...

Rep. Lee Zeldin hearkened back to 2016 to remind the nation that the Obama administration was “furious” with retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn for calling on world leaders to block an “anti-Israel” effort. The New York Republican tweeted Thursday morning about Flynn, who served as Trump’s national security adviser in early 2017, and his efforts to block the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334, which focused on Israeli settlements in “Palestinian territories occupied since 1967.” “Keep in mind Obama admin was furious Gen Michael Flynn was making calls to world leaders helping to block UN Sec Council Res 2334 in...

After President Trump claimed in an interview with Fox Business Network that his political critics are pushing a slower reopening of the economy to hurt him politically in November’s election, former Vice President Joe Biden countered that "we all want to reopen" — but "safely and effectively." Asked if he thinks his political opponents want him to keep the economy closed due to the coronavirus pandemic as the presidential election nears, Trump told Fox Business Network’s Maria Bartiromo: “Yeah, I do. I do. I think it's a political thing.” "The people that want to see the right thing happen, they...

President Trump is keeping the Palestinian Authority’s feet to the fire until it resumes direct negotiations with Israel in good faith and ceases using its funds to subsidize Palestinians imprisoned in connection with terrorist acts against Israelis, or the families of jailed or dead terrorists. By contrast, the Democrats’ presumptive presidential nominee Joe Biden wants to return to the failed policies of the Obama-Biden administration. Biden recently stated that, if elected president, he “will reopen the U.S. consulate in East Jerusalem, find a way to re-open the PLO’s diplomatic mission in Washington, and resume the decades-long economic and security assistance...

As the U.S. works to recover from the financial fallout of the coronavirus pandemic, President Trump is preparing a “stronger” playbook than his 2017 policy platform to return the U.S. economy to its former strength, he says, which could include a payroll tax cut. During an interview with FOX Business’ Maria Bartiromo on Thursday, Trump said he liked the idea of a payroll tax cut because it provides a benefit to both businesses and workers. “That’s one of the taxes that I want to see cut,” Trump said. “And by the way, we’ve already given – we’ve given the largest...

Obama-era officials involved in the unmasking of former national security adviser Gen. Michael Flynn went after him "with a vengeance" because they knew he would expose the "Russia hoax," Fox News legal analyst Gregg Jarrett asserted Thursday. In an interview on "Fox & Friends" with host Steve Doocy, Jarrett said that he had asked a top intelligence official why Flynn had been targeted during the 2016 transition period and the official told him it was a punitive concerted effort and a "conspiracy." "And I think it's because, you know, Flynn had a bullseye on his back. People like Comey, McCabe,...

In a preview of an interview set to air during Thursday’s broadcast of Fox Business Network’s “Mornings with Maria,” President Donald Trump sounded off on the recently unveiled circumstances of the prosecution of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn. According to Trump, the previous administration and the FBI were targeting him, and he said it was a plan that went all the way to the upper echelons of the federal government, which included Barack Obama and Joe Biden. “They weren’t after General Flynn — they wanted him to lie about me, make up a story,” he said. “And with few...

His approval ratings have never been higher, including on Election Day 2016. Plus, he’s ahead of Biden in battleground states. Well, that’s interesting, I thought, as I noted that the RealClearPolitics homepage stated that President Trump was tied for his all-time high in CNN polling. Then I went over to the CNN homepage for confirmation. Guess what I found? The main story was about a church that lost 44 parishioners to COVID-19. The second-most prominent story told us that “Grocery Prices Are Soaring” (which is true if you think that a 2.6 percent increase in April should be called “soaring”),...

Former Vice President Joe Biden was among those who requested Michael Flynn’s identity be revealed in intelligence reports — a process known as “unmasking” — according to documents made available to two Republican senators by Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell on Wednesday. According to the document, Biden made the request on January 12, 2017, eight days before leaving office; an accompanying memo to Grenell, signed by National Security Agency Director Paul Nakasone, specifies that each official listed was “an authorized recipient” and that the “unmasking” was approved through the agency’s normal process. Sens. Grassley and Johnson said in...

Donald Trump has ratcheted up his “Obamagate” conspiracy theory to implicate Joe Biden and other former White House officials in what critics say is a desperate attempt to distract from the coronavirus pandemic. Ric Grenell, the acting director of national intelligence, on Wednesday sent Congress a list of high-ranking Obama administration members he alleged were involved in the “unmasking” of retired general Michael Flynn, in intelligence reports dating from the presidential transition.... Unmasking is a routine practice used to identify a person anonymously referred to in an intelligence document. It takes place hundreds of times a year, without controversy.

President Donald Trump's approval rating reached its highest point in three years Tuesday as his administration continues to battle the coronavirus pandemic, according to a new poll. The CNN poll conducted by SSRS, an independent research company, found that 45 percent of respondents approve of the way Trump is handling his job, while 51 percent disapprove and 4 percent had no opinion. The poll surveyed 1,112 people and had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.7 Percent ...

Joe Biden has the support of just over half of Democrats, although the vast majority still expect the former vice president to be their party’s presidential nominee. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 54% of Likely Democratic Voters are satisfied with Biden as the Democrats’ 2020 nominee. Twenty-eight percent (28%) think the party should find someone else to be their nominee, while another 18% are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.) Ninety-two percent (92%) of Democrats, however, think it’s likely Biden will be the Democratic presidential nominee in 2020, with 77% who say...

A pro-Trump super PAC attacked former Vice President Joe Biden over his accuser Tara Reade’s allegations in an ad released Monday. Great America PAC’s ad, titled “Shattered,” focuses on Reade’s allegations that Biden, a Democratic candidate in the 2020 presidential election, kissed her, touched her, and penetrated her with his fingers without her consent in 1993 when she worked for him as a Senate staffer. Biden has repeatedly denied these allegations.

2020 Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden said Tuesday that President Trump has not provided the necessary "materials" to reopen America's economy during the coronavirus pandemic and that he was "getting frustrated" with those pushing to do so. In an interview on "Good Morning America" with ABC News' George Stephanopoulos, Biden said that while everyone wants the nation to reopen, they need to do so rationally and with the science behind them. "I'm getting frustrated with – not you – with this, the whole notion that somehow there is ... we could just open, we could move," he stated.

* 48% of voters view Biden unfavorably, up 3 points since the surge of Tara Reade coverage, while 43% view him favorably, down 2 points since then. * Voters who dislike both Trump and Biden overwhelmingly back Biden, 46% to 14%, in a head-to-head matchup. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Tara Reade’s allegation that Joe Biden sexually assaulted her when he was a senator in 1993 is one of the few non-coronavirus stories to have broken through to voters amid the pandemic, and it appears to be taking a toll on the former vice president’s popularity. A new Morning Consult poll found the former...

Sen. Chuck Schumer said he accepts Joe Biden’s response to former aide Tara Reade’s accusation that he sexually assaulted her in a Senate hallway in 1993. “I have heard Joe Biden’s explanation, and I think it’s sufficient,” Schumer, a New York Democrat, told reporters Tuesday. No Senate Democrat has said they will abandon support of Biden as a result of Reade’s accusation.
