WASHINGTON, DC–Reps. Byron Donalds (R-FL) and Chip Roy (R-TX) slammed Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) for violating the Hastert Rule after the $60 billion Ukraine aid bill passed on Saturday without a majority of Republican support. The longstanding rule directs that a Republican speaker will only put legislation up for a floor vote if a majority of the GOP conference supports it. The rule is meant to prevent a GOP speaker from colluding with Democrats to pass bills. But most of the GOP did not back the Ukraine bill.

As to what is happening (or not happening) in the House of Representatives, most America First Patriots have always believed that Representative Kevin McCarthy leaned RINO rather than MAGA. Still, Republicans elected McCarthy Speaker of the House in January in a fair (albeit long) election process…. McCarthy did not follow through on several key promises, many of which are detailed in numerous other articles. However, Florida Representative Matt Gaetz and his illustrious seven followers ousted McCarthy with Marxist Democrat support while lacking a plan forward. There would have been some thought to what Gaetz did if he had included in...

The reaction on CNN after Trump’s Town Hall Triumph last night was just priceless. They were shell-shocked, you could tell, at how well Trump did. GOP Rep. Byron Donalds was on their panel as a GOP voice – and what a job he did! He hammered them for their bias, and dealt with one attack after another. He is a very impressive person, someone Trump should consider as a Vice-Presidential running mate. . . .

During the House Oversight Committee press conference on the Biden international business enterprise, Rep. Byron Donalds cut to the heart of the matter: **SNIP** I had the ability with Chairman Comer and other members of this committee to go over to the Treasury building and review documents. Having read those documents, one thing became pretty clear: there were many people who had serious questions about the transactions and about the velocity of these transactions, and they either went very deep into concealment, hiding money, shifting money, and for the purpose, we don't know. One thing the American people and the...

Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) criticized Senate Republicans Monday for enabling the bipartisan “infrastructure” bill, giving Democrats a win while readying to pass the larger $3.5 trillion trojan horse package. “I think the bigger thing to be shocked by is what’s happened in the Senate. Senate Republicans who’ve agreed to this deal think that they’re only going to get a bipartisan deal. And it’s simply not true either,” a Fox News reporter tweeted, quoting Donalds’ statement. “Democrats are going to get what they want in the House.” “AOC, Ayanna Pressley, Cori Bush, they’ve been consistent on this since the beginning of...
