On Friday, hundreds of concerned parents, children, and allies gathered in Ottawa to take part in the Education over Indoctrination protest against LGBTQ content in schools. During the protest, kids from Muslim families fed up with gender indoctrination in their classrooms stomped on Pride flags, garnering cheers from the crowd. Footage from the protest captured the moment the children, seemingly at the direction of their parents, stood atop a selection of small Pride flags scattered on the ground and began stomping. The crowd cheered them on, with some older members coming over to shake their hands and voice their approval.

This week, the week of The Ascension, I turn my attention down from the fatherly sky to the motherly earthly foundation of what we are. Men, women and children need to live with love. This love is an indispensable foundation of human society. The modern western demonisation of men and disempowerment of mothers are two sides of the same coin. The cradle of human culture is maternal love. When family life ceases to be a nation’s foundation, the nation’s death is inevitable. In that spirit, I hope the above articulation of gender principles can evolve to become incantations of value...

The families of the victims in the Buffalo supermarket shooting from last May have sued more than half a dozen Big Tech companies alleging that they gave the shooter a platform to take in racist and violent views before committing the shooting. Diona Patterson, Barbara Mapps and Shawanda Rogers, whose loved ones were killed in the shooting, and survivor Latisha Rogers filed the lawsuit in New York Supreme Court in Erie County on Friday against social media companies like Meta, Facebook’s parent company; Snap, Inc., which runs Snapchat; Discord; Amazon, which owns Twitch; and Reddit.

Breitbart News spoke with presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy (R) about the left’s knee-jerk gun control reaction to high profile shootings and noted his conviction that the focus should be on things such as mental health and the breakdown of the nuclear family, rather than firearm laws. The left’s eagerness to push gun control has been evidenced in instances where President Biden has pushed an “assault weapons” ban in response to handgun attacks. He did this following a January 21, 2023, pistol attack in California, the February 13, 2023, after the handgun attack at Michigan State University, and most recently pushed...

Colorado Gov. Jared Polis wants to steamroll local zoning and land-use rules in favor of his own vision for planning and development across the entire state? Not so fast, say Colorado’s cities. Their opposition first popped up when their chief lobbyist at the Capitol, Kevin Bommer of the Colorado Municipal League, labeled Polis’ plan a “breathtaking power grab.” That was upon its unveiling a few weeks ago as Senate Bill 23-213. It was just the start of the push-back. As reported by Colorado Politics, the CEO of Colorado’s No. 2 city, Colorado Springs Mayor John Suthers, turned up at the...

Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) told CBS News in an interview on Tuesday that she believed Republican lawmakers were continuing to put the well-being of the National Rifle Association (NRA) over Americans and their families. Duckworth said, “We can right now today pass universal background checks. We could pass a ban on assault weapon ban. We could pass a ban on high-capacity magazines. Those last two things are the common denominators involved in mass shootings in this country.”

Treasury Department Secretary Janet Yellen acknowledged on Friday that 90 percent of IRS audits will be conducted on small businesses and families, not billionaires. Testifying before the House Ways and Means Committee, Rep. Adrian Smith (R-NE) questioned Yellen on the ambiguity of her opening statement. Smith prefaced his question by noting the 87,000 new IRS agents hired at the agency over the next decade to conduct tax enforcement on Americans. “Regarding the audits, there has been confusion about the meaning of the directive that you cited,” Smith said in his line of questioning. “Are you talking about the total number...

The Biden administration is considering reinstating the policy of detaining migrant families who cross the border illegally, a practice President Joe Biden had ended when he came into office, two administration officials said. It is one of several options administration officials are mulling as they prepare for the end of Title 42, the public health order that allows border agents to immediately turn away certain migrants who crossed the southern border illegally. White House and Department of Homeland Security officials have had multiple meetings in recent days to discuss the possibility of reviving the practice ahead of the anticipated expiration...

"It will bring a smile to my daughter's face," said Noemi Munoz of South Los Angeles. "Bring some groceries to the table." When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in early 2020, federal policymakers acted quickly and decisively to make school meals available to all children at no charge. This policy remained in effect for two and a half years. It was a game-changer. Across the country, school nutrition staff reported numerous benefits in the Food Research & Action Center’s (FRAC) Large School District Report, including removing the stigma from program participation and eliminating school meal debt to the benefit of both families and school districts. The policy also helped address household food insecurity, which rose significantly due to COVID-19 and allowed an additional...

Infowars host Alex Jones filed for bankruptcy on Friday, after a series of defamation trials resulted in Jones owing nearly $1.5 billion to the families of the victims of the Sandy Hook shooting, The Washington Post reported. Jones reportedly listed his assets at between $1 million and $10 million and his debts at between $1 billion and $10 billion, according to the Post. A Connecticut jury in October ordered Jones to pay $965 million in compensatory and punitive damages to 15 relatives of the victims of the 2012 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School. The families sued Jones for spreading...

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) ‘correct’ data they don’t like, and ‘fail to archive the evidence’ — they are frauds in the eyes of many. Former top NOAA scientist, Dr. John Bates, led the agency’s climate data records program for ten years. Since his time at the agency, however, Bates has spoken of data tampering and serious malfeasance; specifically, he accuses NOAA of publishing a flawed report which supposedly disproved the pause observed in global warming between 1998 to 2012. Bates charges that study’s lead author, NOAA official Tom Karl, with using unverified data sets, ignoring mandatory agency...

American families have lost $6,000 in annual wages thanks to President Joe Biden’s soaring inflation, a Heritage Foundation study revealed over the weekend. The loss in wages represents a $1,800 increase from September, when American families had lost $4,200 in annual wages under Biden. “People are just absolutely being crushed,” Heritage fellow E.J. Antoni told Fox Business. “It’s not the price of caviar and yachts that are driving these numbers. It’s necessities, it’s staples. It’s things like eggs, milk, flour, soup. These are things that are up 20 or 30 percent year-over-year.”

U.S. families are struggling to make ends meet as multiple supply chain issues continue to affect many aspects of their lives amid record high gas prices and 41-year-high inflation. Online news outlet the 19th highlighted one such case this week as an Indianapolis mother, Diamond Cotton, has struggled to find basic products she needs for her family. She has been forced to go from store to store to find tampons for her daughters, “who have both started menstruating and would need tampons to go swimming this summer,” according to the outlet.

Families have been torn apart in the biggest European conflict since the second world war, as Ukrainian women and children left their husbands and fathers behind after Ukrainian authorities ordered men aged 18-60 to stay and fight Kremlin forces. 'We left dad in Kiev and dad will be selling things and helping our heroes, our army, he might even fight,' Mark Goncharuk, a young boy choking with tears, said as he and his relatives fled the capital. As missiles fell on Ukrainian cities, nearly 400,000 Ukrainian civilians, mainly women and children, have fled into neighbouring countries. .....

In 1941, when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor and the United States entered World War II, there were 2,515,427 babies born in this country. Of those babies, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 95,700 -- or 3.8% -- were born to unmarried mothers. The traditional family led by a mother and father was a foundational fact of American culture. In 1945, the percentage of babies born to unmarried mothers rose to 4.3%. But, by 1946, the first full year after the war, it dropped back down to 3.8%. The traditional family survived. Then in the 1950s, the...

I have the honor of serving as the Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives, and I’ve had a successful and fulfilling career as a gang and homicide prosecutor, but the most important title I will ever hold is being called “dad” by my two sons. It is the privilege of my life to be able to raise them to be kind, courageous and most importantly, to know that I will always love, support and protect them. When I took the helm of the Florida House back in 2020, the cyclical issues affecting our families and society became increasingly apparent...
