As of this past week, the popular TVAddons website — and their large Fusion super repository — is down. Many of the addons that TVAddons had collected, including Exodus and Phoenix, also took a hit. These recent events have left many Kodi users scrambling to find some great alternatives to the popular and highly-relied-upon TVAddons. The good news is that TVAddons is not the only place to locate many great addons. Here are several TVAddons replacement repositories that will get you some (but not all) of the addons you’re looking for.

Americans used to gather in front of their TV sets on, say, Thursday at 8 p.m. and tune in to Channel 3. The upside: the whole country had a common cultural bond. The downside: everyone had to sit down Thursday at 8 p.m. The requirement for the whole population to watch the same shows simultaneously has evaporated as technology advanced. But what will replace the old system? Will we be able to sign up for just the channels we want? Will we pay for one episode at a time? Will the Internet become the new delivery system? At this point,...

Sky News is now streaming its TV channel for free over its website 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Despite Rupert Murdoch's mumblings about charging for all online content, the site is free - for now at least. Murdoch said yesterday that it was time for aggregators and search engines must start paying for news content - a slight refinement on previous announcements which seemed to want to get some money out of the readers.

Let's face it folks, we have the liberal media on the ropes. Drive by newspapers are dying. liberal broadcasts are setting record lows. Liberal cable outlets are always claiming 2nd, 3rd, etc best to Fox. So what's the next step?

Time Warner's Bewkes Plots Industry Initiative to Eradicate Free Content Jeff Bewkes hopes to put more TV on the internet, but he's going to make consumers prove they've paid for it. Time Warner, the largest owner of cable networks including TNT, Cartoon Network, CNN and HBO, sat back and watched as broadcasters such as ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox tried to sort out the distribution of TV on the web. But now Mr. Bewkes, Time Warner CEO, has a plan to put all cable programming on the web in places such as Hulu, MySpace, Yahoo TV, or even YouTube. Of...

In an obvious effort to diminish Huck, Fred gets off a line he wants Iowans to chew on in the weeks ahead: Citing a face-off with America's enemies, Thompson asks: "Who do you want sitting on our side representing you? "That ought to be who you elect president." Then, in an attempt to put his foot down on debate silliness, he refused to play along on the raise-your-hand-if line of questioning on global warming. "I’m not doing handshows today," Thompson said to applause. Not offered a full minute to respond, Thompson said, "Well, then I'm not going to answer it."...

Verizon Communications Inc. plans to use Microsoft Corp. technology for its rollout of television service over a new fiber-optic network, becoming the third major telephone company to help fulfill Microsoft's long-stymied bid to barge into the TV business. .................................................... Verizon, which is spending billions to replace its copper phone lines with speedy fiberglass cables, also expects to exploit the technology's Internet-based capabilities to roll out more advanced interactive services down the road, the companies planned to announce Monday. The deal with Verizon comes on the heels of a contract from SBC Communications Inc. to use Microsoft's platform to launch that...
