On the advice of pal and fellow FReeper, al baby, I tried Portillo's Hot Dogs (it's pronounced por-TILL-ohs). It's a Chicago area chain, but they recently opened a store in Buena Park, CA near where I live. They not only serve hot dogs, but also burgers, sandwiches, salads and other items. I started off with their Beef Hot Dog with everything, which is the classic Chicago Hot Dog. It was very, very good. I then had an Italian Beef sandwich. It was wonderful.
