With the race for governor hanging in the balance, Milwaukee County Clerk George Christenson said his office still had more than 45,000 uncounted ballots shortly after midnight Wednesday. Christenson said his office had just received 7,800 ballots from Wauwatosa, which were delayed because of a problem with a computer modem.
