New York Gov. (Andrew Cuomo) urged private businesses on Aug. 2 to institute “vaccine-only” admission in order to incentivize getting vaccinated against COVID-19.“Private businesses, bars, restaurants: go to a vaccine-only admission. … I believe it’s in your business interest to run a vaccine-only establishment,” he said, without elaborating.

CNN anchor Don Lemon said Thursday during the handoff between shows that it was time to blame the “selfish” and “ignorant” unvaccinated for the coronavirus Delta variant surge. Lemon said, “I don’t know if we can get this under control. We had the opportunity. None of this had to happen. Children didn’t have to get sick. If we didn’t let the virus to mutate and this variant to catch on, we could have had this under control. We were well on our way, and the only people you can blame, the only people you can blame — this isn’t shaming—...

Former Labour prime minister Tony Blair has again called for the unvaccinated to be treated differently to the vaccinated, this time saying those who have had the shot should have a quicker process of exiting quarantine to mitigate against a “pingdemic”. Despite Monday the 19th of July being touted as the long-awaited ‘Freedom Day’, where most restrictions have been lifted in England, there remains the order for all Britons to self-isolate if ordered to do so by through Nation Health Service (NHS) Covid Test and Trace app, which alerts users if they have been in contact with someone who has...

The faculty of a Washington Heights high school is rebelling against their principal, charging in a vote of no confidence that she has “flagrantly but unsuccessfully attempted to divide our school by race.” Paula Lev, principal of the High School for Law and Public Service, is now under investigation by the city Department of Education for allegedly telling a faculty member she “was going to get rid of all these white teachers that aren’t doing anything for the kids of our community,” a complaint states. Many states have announced vaccine lotteries - and companies like Krispy Kreme have offered incentives for vaccinations. Dating apps have also begun allowing users to share their vaccination status, all in the name of encouraging people to get the shot. After Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a law forbidding the use of what some call “vaccine passports,” a Tampa Bay concert promoter decided to creatively motivate his community to get vaccinated by providing $18 discounted tickets in exchange for vaccinations, and charging $999.99 for those who have not gotten vaccinated. Promoter Paul Williams came up with the idea as vaccination...

Two Major League Baseball teams, the New York Yankees and New York Mets, are getting prepared to, kind of, bring their games back to normal. But the price of bringing the games back to somewhat normal is precisely what many people were frightened of to begin with, CBS New York reported. Their stadiums, Yankee Stadium and Citi Field respectively, will have separate seating for vaccinated and non-vaccinated people. In the vaccinated section, fans will not have to socially distance but will still, ridiculously, have to wear masks even after the Centers For Disease Control said masks were not needed outside.

I’ve said, here and elsewhere, that one of the principal benefits of the pandemic is how I’ve been able to exclude racism and whiteness generally from my day-to-day life. Over the past year, I have, of course, still had to interact with white people on Zoom or watch them on television or worry about whether they would succeed in reelecting a white-supremacist president. But white people aren’t in my face all of the time. I can, more or less, only deal with whiteness when I want to. Their cops aren’t hunting me when I drive through my neighborhood; their hang-ups...

February, as it has been for the past 45 years, is Black History Month, bringing the contributions of Black ingenuity and the civil rights movement to classrooms and TV screens across the United States in honor of the birth month of both Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass. But the 2021 version, following a summer of Black Lives Matter protests and the election of the first Black woman elected vice president — amid the ongoing pandemic and its disproportionate effect on Black Americans — feels different.

On Thursday a far-left-wing activist posted to Twitter a “proposed map” of two new countries, the United States of Canada and Jesusland. Shortly thereafter, she deleted the map from her Twitter feed and apologized once she realized what she’d done. The mistake left-wing activist Amy Siskind made was assuming that conservatives would take offense to be separated into their own country. It turns out, in fact, that conservatives would absolutely love and adore the idea. Below is a screenshot of Siskind’s original tweet: In Siskind’s fantasy world, horribly-run far-left states such as California, Oregon, and New York would be annexed...

So much for peaceful dialogue between all the opposing views in this country. We can all thank the Democrats for the rising racism in our country because it seems that being white is now a problematic thing. At least in the university of Virginia, multicultural center “whites” are not welcomed, guests. A video shows a woman announcing that she felt “uncomfortable” by the presence of white students at a new Multicultural Student Center on the campus of the University of Virginia. “There’s a whole university for a lot of y’all to be at, and there’s very few spaces for us,...

New England Patriots defensive end Michael Bennett invoked the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie “Black Panther” during his player intro on “Sunday Night Football.” During the introduction of the Patriots defensive starters, where players typically state their name and the college they went to, Bennett opted for a different idea. “Michael Bennett, Wakanda Forever!” Bennett shouted, crossing his arms to emulate the salute given by characters in the movie.

When Obama met with Farrakhan, it was under the auspices of the Congressional Black Caucus. It wasn’t the first or last time that the CBC had been caught in bed with the hate group leader. And CBC members have never been ashamed of their ties to a racist who had praised Hitler as a “great man”. “I’ve been to his home, done meetings, participated in events with him,” Rep. Danny Davis declared. “I don’t regard Louis Farrakhan as an aberration or anything, I regard him as an outstanding human being.” The CBC won’t sanction Rep. Davis for saying that. In...

Since last week, Fox News’ Eric Bolling has been going after Azealia Banks over comments about what she hates about America. Here’s the full comment in question, from Banks’ recent Playboy interview: I hate everything about this country. Like, I hate fat white Americans. All the people who are crunched into the middle of America, the real fat and meat of America, are these racist conservative white people who live on their farms. Those little teenage girls who work at Kmart and have a racist grandma—that’s really America. In response, Bolling deemed Banks his “fool of the week” on The...

In her brand new Playboy interview. By the end of it, the Broke With Expensive Tastes rapper takes aim at EVERYBODY: Lorde, Kendrick Lamar, and “fat white Americans” –...
