Liberal Democrats who consider themselves the champions of tolerance constantly show that their actions are quite different from their talking points. Take the case of Israel Broussard, an actor in Netflix’s To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before movie. After being “outed” for “problematic” tweets and likes -- including liking tweets from Daily Wire Editor-in-Chief Ben Shapiro, President Donald Trump and Florida Senator Marco Rubio – the conservative celebrity has officially apologized for his "inappropriate and insensitive words and likes on social media." In an article written by James R. Barrett for the Daily Wire website, the actor who played...

Just before he recently departed ABC Studios to embark on a rich overall deal at Netflix, Black-ish creator Kenya Barris sold one last high-profile project to ABC: Bewitched, a single camera, interracial blended family comedy based on the popular 1960s sitcom of the same name. It took a little while for all the deals to close, but the network has given a pilot production commitment to the new take on the classic supernatural sitcom, from Barris and Black-ish writer/producer Yamara Taylor. The project hails from ABC Studios; Sony Pictures TV, which has the rights to the title; and Sony-based Davis Entertainment (The Blacklist).

19 Aug 20181075 Netflix’s Insatiable star Alyssa Milano railed against President Donald Trump’s nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court, declaring that he will “affect everything we know to be true as American citizens.” Speaking alongside far-left pro-abortion activists including Lauren Duca, Cecile Richards, Jessica McIntosh, Jessica Morales Rocketto and Meagan Hatcher-Mays at the Los Angeles stop of the “Rise Up for Roe” tour, Milano described it as “f***ing absurd” that they are fighting to keep abortion legalized and called on people to mobilize against Kavanaugh’s nomination.

If you're browsing Netflix for a new show to watch, don't bother looking for reviews on the platform to see if a title is worth your time. The streaming service is done purging user reviews -- a decade's worth of comments praising and excoriating shows, all gone. Under the question "How do I post reviews on Netflix?," the service's Help Center now says: "Netflix customers were able to leave reviews on Netflix.com until mid-2018, when reviews were removed due to declining use. To learn how Netflix suggests TV shows and movies we think you'll love, visit our Ratings & Recommendations...

Hard to believe, I know, but Netflix has canned the supremely unfunny Michelle Wolf's "comedy" show after a brief run: Well, that was fast. On Friday, Netflix quietly pulled the plug on The Break with Michelle Wolf, one of the only “late-night” shows on “television” hosted by a female comedian, just three months after it premiered. The streaming service also ended the short-lived Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale, but it was the news about Wolf’s show that came as a much bigger shock. That’s because, when The Break premiered in May, Wolf was riding higher than pretty much any...

Comedian Michelle Wolf's Netflix talk show,"The Break With Michelle Wolf," will not be returning to the streaming service for a second season. Deadline reported on Friday that Wolf's Netflix series had been canceled only about three months after its first episode aired. The show's last episode was released on July 29. Wolf has not yet made a statement about her show's cancellation. The "Daily Show" star gained widespread notoriety earlier this year after giving a speech during the White House Correspondents' Association (WHCA) dinner in which she repeatedly slammed White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders. "I actually really like...

Netflix will not release a documentary about the life of Louis Farrakhan after all, despite the controversial Nation of Islam leader’s claim that it would hit the streaming giant on Wednesday, a company spokesperson told Fox News on Tuesday. “This film will not be released on Netflix. Due to an internal miscommunication, it appeared to be scheduled for release on Netflix, but it is not. We apologize for any confusion this has caused,” the Netflix spokesperson said. Netflix issued the statement after Fox News asked about a tweet sent by Farrakhan to promote the film. “My dear viewers and listeners,...

Netflix is developing a superhero show from a comic book, and America loves comic-book superheroes. This one is about an American superhero, for modern American tastes, and it’s bilingual so this epic superhero show will be inclusive, too. It involves a boy who suddenly and surprisingly discovers, in the way of all young superheroes, that he has amazing powers. And not just any superpowers. He has power over death itself.-snip- I don’t know much about “American Jesus.” But if you’ve got plenty of lumber and nails and pitch, now might be a good time to start building an ark. We...

Samantha Bee is demanding women take action against a man who could make abortion illegal. Or so she says. On her show Full Frontal July 18, host Samantha Bee ordered women to get “hysterical” over President Trump’s pick for next Supreme Court Justice: federal judge Brett Kavanaugh. She needn’t worry – they already have. But Bee’s fuss over abortion sounds like crying “wolf” after she called pro-lifers “d**kheads” of “toxic bullsh*t” in 2016 – not to mention other abortion outbursts. And there’s also that time she called Ivanka Trump a “feckless c***.” (Talk about looking out for women, as she...

(Reuters) - Netflix Inc's subscriber growth and forecast fell short of Wall Street expectations, sending shares of the normally high-flying stock crashing 14 percent on Monday. The company's total monthly customers reached 130 million worldwide, 1 million fewer than forecasts from Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S, as it added new programming including "Lost in Space" and new episodes of Marvel's "Jessica Jones" and "13 Reasons Why." "We had a strong but not stellar Q2," Netflix said in a quarterly letter to shareholders. Netflix said it had "over-forecasted" quarterly fluctuations in the pace of new customers. Before the earnings report, Netflix shares had...

Ever since Justice Anthony Kennedy announced his retirement from the Supreme Court, the left has been in hysterics over the very real possibility that Trump will appoint an originalist judge who will, you know, actually interpret the Constitution as it was meant to be interpreted. Their biggest fear is our greatest reason to rejoice: this paves the way to overturn Roe v. Wade. So leave it to someone like Michelle Wolf, the “comedienne” who faceplanted all over the White House Correspondent’s Dinner earlier this year in an attempt to be funny, demonstrating instead her hatred for Trump and everyone who...

On Sunday, Netflix aired a “Salute to Abortion,” hosted by “comedian” Michelle Wolf, who closed the segment with a star-spangled, flag-waving, drum corps declaration: “God bless abortion!” On her weekly Netflix program, “The Break with Michelle Wolf,” Wolf used Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy’s announced retirement to tout abortion rights and demean pro-life Americans, with “jokes” like: “And, I know, some people call themselves ‘pro-life’- but, ‘pro-life' is a propaganda term that isn’t real, like healthy ice cream and handsome testicles.”

You'll no longer be able to post written reviews as of July 30, and then in mid-August existing written reviews will be removed. Soon, it'll be a little harder for you to tell everyone what you thought of Marvel's The Avengers. Netflix is removing a desktop-only feature this summer that allowed users to read and write reviews of TV shows and movies on its website. But the shutdown is coming in stages. People will no longer be able to write their feedback on a show, similar to a Yelp review of a restaurant, by July 30. And in mid-August, people...

Netflix has come under fire for a movie streaming on their site that some viewers say contains a scene that is child pornography. The news site PJ Media said it reported the film to the FBI and Department of Justice for child pornography... An Argentinian movie that Netflix offers called Desire is upsetting Netflix subscribers because of what looks like illegal content. Viewers on Facebook have shared a clip of the movie and are calling it outright child porn. In the opening scene, two little girls who look to be about seven and nine are playing "horse" on pillows. The older girl begins to obviously masturbate as the younger child watches. The camera even takes this scene into a close up of the child's face in slow motion, moving up and down and panting like a porn star. The scene is graphic and...

Jerry Seinfeld is weighing in on the fallout Roseanne Barr has received after she posted a racist tweet, leading ABC to cancel her hit sitcom, and instead, greenlight a spinoff series, titled The Conners, which won't include her. ET spoke to the 64-year-old comedian on Monday about a new season of his show,Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, coming to Netflix, and also got his candid thoughts on the controversy surrounding Barr's remarks. "I didn't see why it was necessary to fire her," Seinfeld said. "Why would you murder someone who's committing suicide?" "But I never saw someone ruin their entire...

Netflix sacked its chief spokesman Jonathan Friedland, he revealed on Friday, after he used the N-word twice in the space of a few days during meetings with staff. The head of communications announced his departure after being upbraided for a second time for using the racial slur, which is controversial for its ubiquity in hip-hop culture and completely taboo in almost every other context. "I'm leaving Netflix after seven years. Leaders have to be beyond reproach in the example we set and unfortunately I fell short of that standard when I was insensitive in speaking to my team about words...
