Two Louisiana teenagers have been charged with second-degree murder in an attack motivated by a competition between the two to see who could hit harder, according to local police. Windall Herring, 19, and an unnamed 15-year-old were arrested in Baton Rouge on Tuesday for the murder of 55-year-old John Bannon. The attack occurred near Bannon’s home around 9:30 p.m. on Feb. 1. A Johnson City woman who walked up on the aftermath of a downtown assault early Sunday said the incident was similar to the so-called Knockout game. Johnson City police released limited details about the assault, but indicated they need the public’s help in finding who is responsible. DALLAS-It was nearly two weeks ago when an elderly man was beaten to the ground outside a Dallas restaurant. Now police in the city are investigating a similar incident.
