Dash cam video shows a Grand Rapids Police officer taking out a fleeing homicide suspect by running into him with a police cruiser. MLive reports that Adam Nolin allegedly “killed his girlfriend, Tia Randall, 27, at their Wyoming home before he led police on a high-speed chase and shootout that ended on the expressway.” The suspect crashed while navigating a turn during the chase. He then exited his vehicle and allegedly opened fire on police before being run down by an officer:

Corporal Thompson could see the driver moving around in the seat, and could see there was a passenger with him as well. The driver of the vehicle eventually stopped on Steele Road. When Corporal Thompson exited his vehicle, the driver immediately opened his car door and began shooting at Corporal Thompson. Corporal Thompson returned fire and numerous rounds were exchanged before the suspect jumped back into his vehicle and took off, eastbound on Steele Road. He traveled a short distance, stopped and let a female passenger out of the vehicle, then took off again.

State police have released details on a four-vehicle crash that tied up traffic Thursday morning on Interstate 99 in Patton Township. According to the report, officers responded to the crash shortly before 9 a.m. to the 71.5 mile marker within the construction zone along the interstate. Troopers reported that James E. Bentz, 60, of Tampa, Fla., was traveling north into the construction zone when he struck a car driven by Christian L. Lamana, 25, of Milroy. On October 10th, 2018, at about 5:30 a.m. at 522 Hathaway, in Owensboro, Kentucky, a young police officer was involved in a shootout with an armed homeowner.  The officer had been chasing a suspect, and was searching a fenced in area.The homeowner, David Turley, saw the suspicious activity in his backyard, and approached Zachary Morris, 23, the officer.
