South Korea says it has seen indications that the North is preparing more missile launches, possibly an intercontinental ballistic missile. It said it was strengthening its controversial US-made Thaad missile defence system after the North's test of a nuclear bomb at the weekend. The South has carried out live-fire exercises in response to the test. The United Nations Security Council is holding an emergency meeting to discuss its response. It last imposed sanctions in August, targeting North Korean exports. Speaking before the meeting, the British ambassador to the UN, Matthew Rycroft, told reporters there were "further sectors of the...

Once again I must apologize for not posting anything last week. A lot of challenges came up & bit me in the backside at different times & I could not force myself to sit down & "write" this up. So with that being said, I have a couple of different topics for this week. The first one is, for those of us who have a bit of land/space what kind of poultry do you want to raise & for what reason/s. Do you want chickens for meat or the eggs, what about bug control in your garden/s. Someone on my...

HOUSTON, Texas--A busload of illegal immigrants is expected to show up in Murrieta, California in spite of a furious group of residents who claim their town is no place for the migrants. On Sunday Breitbart Texas broke the news that federal agents accompanying the bus will have riot gear and shields, in order to push back the crowd. Despite this, the protesters have no intentions of backing down--rather, the group is preparing for a showdown that one resident told Breitbart Texas "might get ugly." Sources on the ground in Murrieta told Breitbart Texas that many protesters have already gathered in...

>>> An initiative by Jerusalem's Mayor Nir Barkat intends to take advantage of the wide coverage to unleash a public relations barrage and to present to them "Jerusalem's other side." According to the plan, journalists will be taken on tours around Jerusalem and will visit the main historical sites, such as City of David and the Western Wall Tunnel. They will also be taken to an Israel Museum's exhibition about King Herod and to the Ice City, where they will see a custom built ice sculptor in Obama's image. <<<

According to Britain’s Sunday Times, Israeli special forces are already on the ground in Gaza seeking out rockets and weapons for targeting. The Times is also reporting that Hamas may place chemical weapons on its long-range missiles. “Hamas might go for a desperate attempt to launch rockets with chemical warheads if the worst came to the worst,” one unnamed source reported. It has been reported that Hamas is hiding its rockets underground, particularly near civilian areas including mosques, hoping that Israel will not strike such targets out of concern for civilian life. The same report gave a timeline of the...

Police are getting ready for a confrontation with residents and protesters in the Ulpana neighborhood. On Sunday, Arutz Sheva's Hebrew service uncovered a training plan for Border Guards and other security forces, that included drills aimed at providing troops with skills to remove men, women, and children from the Givat Ha'ulpana neighborhood of Beit El. On Monday, Ha'aretz reported that some 1,000 troops were to be provided with that training. According to a decision by the High Court, Jewish residents of the neighborhood have until the end of the month to leave their homes. When they do, they will find...

Just before the Florida primary on Tuesday, a wag predicted that it would be won either by the guy everyone hates or the guy no one likes. It was an easy prediction because the election was guaranteed to be won either by Newt Gingrich or Mitt Romney. However, although Romney won a crushing victory over Gingrich, whose victory in South Carolina boosted his campaign enormously, it did not erase doubts about his viability as the GOP standard-bearer this fall. This is not to say that anyone really believes that Gingrich would run better against Barack Obama in the general election...

Obama has to get his “crack” vote ready for 2012. So what a better way then to give at least 12,000 early releases from jail via the “Fair Sentencing Act.” Did you know the Democrat controlled Congress last year passed this bill? I guess everyone was focused on the ObamaCARE bill and the nightmare Frank-N-Dodd bills. The so called “Fair Sentencing Act” is describe by the Washington Post as “narrowing the huge disparity in punishment” given to those convicted of possessing crack cocaine versus those found with the drug in powder form. Wow, I’m sure glad they cleared that up...

Americans Are Preparing At Unprecedented Levels Author: Mac Slavo April 27th, 2011 Do you have enough larder to feed your family and some friends if grocery stores ran out of food? How about several assault rifles and a few thousand rounds of ammo? Solar panels, a water filter, medical kits, bug-out bags, fire starters, tents, sleeping bags, some junk silver and reserve gasoline? Don’t worry, you’re not alone. It’s becoming apparent to many Americans that depending on our local, state and federal governments in the event of an emergency, catastrophic societal collapse or widespread disaster will not be sufficient to...

More than 800 public radio stations around the country are keeping one ear on Congress these days as momentum seems to be building to eliminate or at least drastically reduce the amount of taxpayer support they get. After passing a budget last month that eliminated all federal funding for public broadcasting, the House last week passed a bill that specifically targets National Public Radio and its more than 800 member stations. H.R. 1076 would prevent public radio stations from using federal community grants to buy outside programming. In other words, they would have to find some other way to purchase...

Remember that public-sector strikes are illegal in Wisconsin; it’s why a few doctors have been holding open-air clinics in Madison to give out notes excusing protestors from work. Unions in Madison now propose to drop the pretense and declare wildcat strikes if the legislature passes the budget-repair bill that will limit collective bargaining and transform the public sector workplace into open shops: If Gov. Scott Walker and Republicans pass a budget repair bill that restricts union rights, labor groups in Madison said they would endorse the entire of a general strike of unions around the state. The South Central Federation...

Israel's army chief told a US Congress delegation in late 2009 he was preparing for a large war in the Middle East, probably against Hamas or Hezbollah, leaked US diplomatic cables showed on Sunday. "I am preparing the Israeli army for a large scale war, since it is easier to scale down to a smaller operation than to do the opposite," Lieutenant General Gabi Ashkenazi was quoted as saying in a cable from the US embassy in Tel Aviv. The document, dated November 15, 2009, was quoted Sunday in Norwegian by Oslo-based daily Aftenposten, which said it had obtained WikiLeaks'...

China is preparing for conflict 'in every direction', the defence minister said on Wednesday in remarks that threaten to overshadow a visit to Beijing by his US counterpart next month. "In the coming five years, our military will push forward preparations for military conflict in every strategic direction," said Liang Guanglie in an interview published by several state-backed newspapers in China. "We may be living in peaceful times, but we can never forget war, never send the horses south or put the bayonets and guns away," Mr Liang added. China repeatedly says it is planning a "peaceful rise" but the...

Now, the 54-year-old businessman and father of five has a backup generator, a water filter, a grain mill and a 4-foot-tall pile of emergency food tucked in his home in the expensive San Diego suburb of La Jolla. Wiseman isn't alone. Emergency supply retailers and military surplus stores nationwide have seen business boom in the past few months as an increasing number of Americans spooked by the economy rush to stock up on gear that was once the domain of hardcore survivalists.
