Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) Tired of all this Winning yet? – President Trump appeared at the Gridiron Dinner in Washington last night, and told a series of hilarious jokes that the audience, filled with about 90% humorless, hate-filled liberals from the fake news media, didn’t catch. That’s ok, because the joke, as usual in this Administration, is on them. Here are a couple of my favorites: “As I’m sure you’ve seen, we’re now riding very high in the polls, which is hard to believe considering I never get any good press. But, I just hit 50...

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) Tired of all this Winning yet? – The Daily Caller reports that, in the cable news ratings race, fake news king CNN did not have a single program in its entire lineup that ranked among the top 20 during the month of February. When the bad guys are losing, the country is #Winning. They call it the Yu Darvish 2-inning start bug. – The Los Angeles Dodgers reported that a “flu-like” illness that was causing fevers and vomiting had ravaged dozens of their players Thursday evening, causing Manager Dave Roberts to scramble...

The Evening Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) So, President Donald Trump spent all day Friday getting hammered by the fake news media, Democrats and many Republicans in congress, and leaders of other countries all over the world for his announcement Thursday afternoon that he plans to implement tariffs on imports of steel and aluminum next week. If that reaction mix sounds familiar to you, it should. It’s exactly the same reaction from a very similar mix of players he received last summer when he announced he was pulling the United States from the Paris Climate Accords. Coincidence? Not...

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) Tired of all this Winning yet? – New jobless claims fell by another 10,000 last week, as the economy approaches full employment. New claims totaled 210,000 according to the Labor Department, the lowest level recorded in the U.S. since 1969. This #Winning never, never, never, ever gets old. Democrats in action. – Meanwhile, the social justice warriors at Kennesaw Mountain College in Georgia have banned the use of pretty much all the pronouns in the Webster’s Dictionary. To replace them, the College introduced seven different lists of “gender-neutral” pronouns that students must...

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) Here’s how you become President for Life in China. – In an effort to crack down on critics of President Xi Jinping, China’s government has recently gone about banning all sorts of things, including: Winnie the Pooh (because some have said Xi looks like the famous cartoon character); The books “Animal Farm” and “1984” for obvious reasons; and The letter “N”, for reasons no one is quite sure about. Upon seeing this news, liberals all over America had as their first thought, “hey, we could ban the letter “G” so nobody could...

The Evening Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) Let’s dissect a tweet issued by President Trump earlier today. Here it is: Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump Why is A.G. Jeff Sessions asking the Inspector General to investigate potentially massive FISA abuse. Will take forever, has no prosecutorial power and already late with reports on Comey etc. Isn’t the I.G. an Obama guy? Why not use Justice Department lawyers? DISGRACEFUL! Attorney General Sessions issued the following statement a bit later: “We have initiated the appropriate process that will ensure complaints against this Department will be fully and fairly acted upon...

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) Tired of all this Winning yet? – President Donald Trump’s public approval rating in the Rasmussen Survey is now 50%, seven percent higher than the rating in the same poll for Barack Obama on the same date in his second term in office. This should not be surprising, given that Obama at that time was having to defend the Obamacare bill, which would take hundreds of billions of dollars away from working Americans, while Trump is currently promoting the Trump tax cuts, which give hundreds of billions of dollars back to working...

The Trump administration rolled out its new sex education priorities this week with an emphasis on abstinence and other sexual risk avoidance strategies. The Title X grant application, released Friday, prioritizes the types of programs that the abortion chain Planned Parenthood and other abortion groups do not offer. Planned Parenthood has been criticized repeatedly for promoting risky sexual behavior to students and young adults. Politico reports the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services will offer $260 million in Title X grants to qualified health care providers. Here’s more from the report.....

With unprecedented speed, the Trump administration has already implemented nearly two-thirds of the 334 agenda items called for by the Heritage Foundation, a pace faster than former President Reagan who embraced the conservative think tank’s legendary “Mandate for Leadership” blueprint. Trump... “is very active, very conservative, and very effective.”.....What’s more, he said, Trump hasn’t just focused on one agenda area, but he and his team has pushed through administrative moves on foreign policy, deregulation, immigration, tax reform and health care, moves often ignored by the media. “It is a huge volume that his administration has worked on and it is...

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) Tired of all this Winning yet? – After going through what seems to have been a fairly standard 10% correction during early February, the stock markets have bounced back. The Dow Jones Industrial average rose by 399 points on Monday, and has now regained more than half of the losses from earlier in the month. Meanwhile, the economy is rolling along so strongly that many economists fear it will create more new jobs than the nation has qualified candidates to fill. This is what is known in economics 101 class as a...

In 1980, President Reagan won the election by asking Americans one simple question: “Are you better off now than you were four years ago?” In 2016, the question was more of an implicit one from Donald Trump: Was America better off then than it was eight years ago, when Barack Obama took office? The country answered no, and duly elected Donald Trump to the presidency. Now, just a year and change later, a new Gallup poll shows more Americans are satisfied with with the direction of country, now under Donald Trump, than have been in over a decade. “Forty-five percent...

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) Tired of all this Winning yet? – The Labor Department reports that new unemployment claims for last week came in at 222,000, well below the expectation of 230,000, and very near the all-time low since this measure of economic performance began being kept 45 years ago. San Fran Nan, in a rare moment of lucidity, admitted to a pair of reporters yesterday that “Yes, people are getting a little more in their paychecks” due to the Trump tax cuts. This belated concession to reality comes after months of lying shamelessly to the...

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) It’s all fake news all the time at @CNN – But then, you already knew that, didn’t you? One of the kids who survived the school shootings in Parkland, Florida last week has revealed that his appearance at a CNN townhall with Senator Marco Rubio and others was actually scripted. He was invited to participate in a panel and told he would be able to ask his own questions, but once the fake journalists at CNN realized his question did not fit the anti-gun narrative the fake news channel is pushing, he...

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) Tired of all this Winning yet? – President Trump, as only he can do it, got onto his Twitter account Tuesday evening and trolled the fake journalists at CNN and MSNBC who helped promote one of the fake Russian-staged anti-Trump rallies on November 12, 2016: “Bad ratings @CNN & @MSNBC got scammed when they covered the anti-Trump Russia rally wall-to-wall. They probably knew it was Fake News but, because it was a rally against me, they pushed it hard anyway. Two really dishonest newscasters, but the public is wise!” Never. Stop. Tweeting....

The Evening Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) If you listen to Rush Limbaugh – I personally do so 2-3 times a week, when my schedule permits – in today’s first hour you heard him give an update of what is going on with the case of General Mike Flynn. If you read the Campaign Update, you’d have read all about all of that stuff on Valentine’s day. Just sayin’. Ok, in fairness to Rush, there has been one important event in the case that took place since February 14: On Friday, February 16, Judge Emmet Sullivan issued an...

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) Tired of all this Winning yet? – Man, the fake editors and fake journalists at the NYTimes had to have really, really hated to report the results of their own fake poll on Monday, showing as it does that, despite the fake news media’s feverishly coordinated effort with the Democrats to convince the American people that getting to keep a little bit more of their hard-earned money via Trump’s tax cuts was the end of the world and would kill us all, a majority of the public now supports the tax cut...

The Evening Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) Pretty much everyone knows who Jeff Foxworthy is. Well, anyone over the age of 25 does, anyway. For those who are unaware, Foxworthy is the southern comedian who is most famous for his “You might be a redneck” routine. Some of his funniest quotes include things like: - If you’ve ever had to climb a water tower with a can of paint to protect your sister’s honor, you might be a redneck; - If your wife has ever had to tell you “honey, come get this transmission out of the tub...

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) I watched it on YouTube so you don’t have to, and trust me, you don’t want to. – Fergie butchered the Star Spangled Banner before the NBA All Star game last night so badly that Roseanne Barr was standing and yelling “I’m not the worst anymore! I’m not the worst anymore!” Fergie, sounding for all the world like a lounge singer skit on Saturday Night Live, was so awful that several players could be seen openly mocking her. She was so bad that commentator Shaquille O’Neal looked at Charles Barkley afterwards and...

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) This past week saw the fake news media have what probably was its fakest week ever – which is saying an awful lot – and here a few of the highlights: The fake news media, lacking any other negative story on which to focus in order to avoid reporting on the massive, mushrooming scandal of corruption at DOJ and the FBI, spent the first several days of the week hammering the Rob Porter story. While Porter’s likely a wife-abusing turd who needed to be fired and needs to be punished, that hardly...
