Many stores sought to open earlier than Black Friday to relieve some of the pressure of shoppers swarming for good deals, but there have already been incidents at Walmarts around the country. At one Walmart, two women in hijabs fought over a vacuum, forcing several employees to intervene:

The Mexican federal government announced the filing of a lawsuit in a U.S. court against Walmart for the August 3 mass shooting in El Paso, Texas. Mexico City claims the shopping center failed in providing necessary and reasonable security measures. DUNCAN, Okla. (TNN) - The Duncan Police Department is beginning the investigation into what happened at the Duncan Walmart on Monday morning. Police were initially dispatched just before 10 a.m. Duncan Police Chief Danny Ford tells us that three people were killed outside the store near a vehicle. One of the people killed is the shooter. Ford says the gun used was a handgun. All of Duncan Public Schools were placed on lock down but have since been given the all clear by police and have been taken off lock down. NILES — Two people have been arrested for arson at the Niles Walmart. Paula Kryski and Stephen Taghon have been arrested for the October 31 incident. Right now they're being held at the St. Joseph County jail before being transferred to Berrien County. Taghon is facing third degree arson and larceny. Kryski is charged with conspiracy to commit arson.

Walmart is hiring 140 full-time employees at its Hammond-area distribution center to support continued growth at the world’s largest brick-and-mortar retailer. Walmart says it will stop selling electronic cigarettes at its namesake stores and Sam's Clubs following a string illnesses and deaths related to vaping. The nation's largest retailer said Friday that it will complete its exit from e-cigarettes after selling through current inventory.
