Who is accusing this mother of being a prostitute?

Every strip joint that I have seen has very strict rules. You touch the women, you are OUT OF THERE!

Actually, when I travel around the world and end up in some unusual cities, a stripper bar is the safest place for me to be. They always have a huge bouncer to insure that the women are protected.

How about her natural talents as a prostitute or drug dealer? Would you deny her a living?

How is that different than an athalete using his or her natural talents to make a living? A football player or a boxer? Both are known to be terribly dangerous sports.

What gives you the right to judge this woman? Why does no one ask where is dear ol' dad in this situation?

I'm not judging her. I'm judging what she does.

Sorry, but place my vote in the "Good Mother" side.

Oh, you mean the "Good Mother Who Wants Her Daughter Taught To Do The Right Thing But Does The Wrong Thing And Justifies It By Saying I Was Doing The Wrong Thing So You Could Learn To Do The Right Thing" side?

Sports is not inherently immoral. Prostitution and drug dealing are.

Let's see. Exchanging money for sexual favors. Yep, sounds like prostitution.

Prostitution is not illegal everywhere. Some forms are legal everywhere.

Why does no one ask where is dear ol' dad in this situation?

It's a good question. But she's not targeting her daughter's father. She's going after the school.

Why do you think that is?

What, like a woman that gets married? You know, she gets her husband's income, a house, a car, etc....

Yeh, so they expel the child three weeks before the end of the term. Beautiful example of Christian mercy and forbearance. A rational person would have not wanted to loose the chance to influence the mom. This is just some tight asses indulging themselves. Real Christians would have jumped on this oportunity like a dog on a bone.

The child has been allowed to stay. You would think the mother would forgoe stripping long enough to let the child graduate but I guess her priority was stripping over her child.

You probably are unusual if you read all the fine print of every contract you sign. While reading contracts is a great idea and I commend you for it, a lot of contracts are "adhesion contracts." If you want what the other party will provide, you must sign the contract whether you like it or not. I would sign the contract if I wanted what the other party will provide.

I suppose that your life has been without even the least suggestion of impropriety. Frankly, I feel that the idea of men putting down a woman for exotic dancing is the ultimate pot calling the kettle black. It is an industry that caters exclusively to men. Many of whom are claiming to be as self righteous as you portray yourself.

And as long as what she is doing is not hurting anyone, you still have no right to judge, I believe that is left up to God. But thanks for calling.

The child should not be punished for the actions of her mother. The contract is subject to interpretation. When the child is with her mother, the mother is not working and is spending time with her child.

Drugs are not the subject

hence the "what if" sceanrio I preceded it with.

I was just wondering if your position was that a "good mother" will do whatever she had to do to keep a child out of daycare, spend more time with the child, etc., yet at the same time do "whatever" to make enough money to be able to do all that. Stripping is what this mom chose....maybe another "good mom" would see the benefits of dealing drugs which would bring in tons of $$$ and provide her with the means to stay home with the child.

I have absolutly no problem when a woman uses her natural tallents to make a profit.

That isn't the issue. The question is, what if other people do have a problem?

She can make all the profit she likes, and if she can find some school that -- mistakenly -- thinks that stripping is compliant with Christian values, she can enroll her kid in that school. Capital Christian Center is NOT one of those.

The mother should not punish the child with her behavior. The mother can find another school but the child cannot find another mother.

Sorry guys I got to break with you guys on this one. And no I don't believe that being a stripper is ok. Shouldn't the church be trying to get closer inside an area of influence where they can help her, to show her why what she is doing is wrong? By kicking the kid out of the school, the church is basicly giving up the only area of influence that they have over the sinner. Looks to me that this women has some good things going for her already:

1. She believes in God

2. She believes that following the bible is good

3 She desires to have her kid brought up with those same values

As a Christian who desires to help people, sounds like a good base to work from if you ask me.

If that's what being married means to you, I hope you aren't.
