Simon and Schuster admitted its decision to place the book on its "youth list," which is aimed at children as young as 13, would be controversial.

You know, many young boys look up to older boys as what they'd like to be (stronger, more assured, more popular, etc. etc.) But what the homosexual groups want is to take any young kid who knows virtually nothing about sexuality, and push him into the homosexual lifestyle before he's even had a chance to let his sexuality develop naturally and normally - and before he's even had a chance to develop the natural and normal attraction for girls. They are kid snatchers. And they seek to act without parents' knowing or consenting to what's going on. It is an evil trade they ply.

You are correct. They want to take a young child and make him/her think that emulating an older friend/sibling is equal to falling in love with that person.

The homosexual community did not make it to the desired in-roads as quickly as it had hoped so they are leapfrogging to the children. Liberals and homosexuals are learning that if they get to the children first, they can circumvent conservatives.

Boys AND girls have same-sex crushes as a normal part of their development! I agree that far too many of these children will be brain-washed into believing that if they've EVER had "romantic" feelings toward the same sex that this means they are homosexual. The type of yearnings children have toward their same-sex friends at that age is more like hero-worship or feelings of closeness and is usually not sexual.

What's sad is in NORMAL development, these early crushes take a back seat to a renewed interest in the OPPOSITE sex.

Distributing this book, with its homosexual overtones, to young boys, should be considered child abuse. Schools should have no business teaching anything about sexuality to our kids, other than the basic biologic facts. Parents have abdicated their rights to instruct their kids in the complex subject of sexuality to homosexuals, Planned Parenthood types, pro-abortionists, and the enablers of the sexually promiscous. It's time to protect your children, and to TAKE THE SCHOOLS BACK.

Absolutely. Homosexual activists and their supporters are child molesters. They have inserted their perverted sexual behavior into the minds of very young children (5, 6, 7, 8,9 years old) and forced the children and their parents to address this perversion. Children at this age are unable to grasp the reality of this perversion and I think having it shoved down their throat by teachers, television, movies, activists as a "positive, normal" activity, has great potential to harm their normal sexual development. Someone should write to them and ask why they don't make a book about little johnny and his secret crush on his dog. Can't leave out the beastials, can we? Someone might get their feelings hurt--except the ignorant Christians--who cares if they're offended.

I'm sure there are some. I can't think of any public figures right off the bat nor among my friends (which is strange given how many of my close friends are homosexual). I think a couple of the Catholics I know still would be against it in principle. I seem to remember a friend of mine tending to his niece once after she came to the city for an abortion. He didn't approve of it and agonized over the whole deal but probably took a pragmatic view of the whole thing. She was within her rights, what's done is done, sort of thing.

I think the connection is twofold:

1. The issue is a litmus test for liberals. It's probably the Key issue, actually, by which the ragtag Rainbow Coalition of minorities and victims is morphed into a scythe they turn on their own -- and the rest of society -- with all due "Empowerment".

   (The really great thing being that all this sound and fury over "fighting" to keep it legal is such a joke given the fact that Republicans have recognized Legal Abortion as absolutely critical to successful population control since 1974 (NSSM-200). Suckers.)

2. Legal abortion is not only the linchpin of the GOP-mandated policy of population control at home and abroad, it's also the foundation for the Human Non-Personhood which enables President Bush to use "Excess" manufacture lives for research and affords homosexuals the ability to manufacture their "own" children.

Because the "right" to have a child (particularly one confected to spec ... as for the lesbians who wanted both of their children to be deaf) turns on ability to make best use of the window of Non-Personhood President Bush nailed open, I can see where it would be in the interest of homosexuals to support abortion.

Without the Mother-Only right to homocide, no one (not homosexuals, infertile breeders or Uncle Sam) would be able to buy, sell, experiment upon, destroy -- and sometimes implant in a uterus, even -- the distinct unborn human lives folks like to pretend are tadpoles, not frogs.
