Wow! Go Curt, um I mean Mr. Schilling.
Kenny Rogers can be his press secretary.
Yeah, sure. Everybody hates Ted Kennedy, too. That's why they've elected him easily every time he's been on the ballot since 1962.
Pingy!!
No, Curt Schilling is planning no such thing.
That would be awesome if flipper got a fastball between the eyes.
Stupid sentence by the author....from a state that will continue to sweep in Fat Teddy and, yes, JFK, for as long as they like.
Those two clowns seats are safer even than Barbara Boxer's.
Story in today's paper said he wants to play ball in '08.

My thoughts exactly.
Kenny has more familiarity with the press's jaw than anything else. Don't point a camera at him!
". If so, theres this: John Kerry got a lower percentage of the presidential vote in Massachusetts than Al Gore did four years ago. "
Awful lot of wishful spin in this article. Did he score lower than Gore? Sure but he still got 62% of the vote in his homestate in the 04 Presidential election and 81% in the 02 race (granted it was against a libretarian). His last close election was against William Weld and he still won by 8%. And the State has gotten more blue since then. The chances of us taking a Senate seat in Mass are slim to none. Particularly with a candidate with no track record whatsoever. Scary and the Swimmer are essentially Senators for life.
That's different, his last name is Kennedy - you know as in John F. Kennedy - as in the greatest President this Nation has ever had. It doesn't matter if you're a drunk, a philanderer or even an idiot (see Patrick Kennedy D-RI) - you just gotta have that name.
Not one of Dean Barnett's better efforts. Frog isn't well-liked in Mass. -- whoop-de-do. The question is whether he can be beaten by a Republican in Mass. And he can't. Also, candidacies by athletes usually don't materialize, and few of them know squat about politics. Star power didn't translate into votes for Lynn Swann, and I'd be surprised if it happened for Curt Schilling -- if he runs, which he probably won't.
Curt is one one the few people that could beat Kerry in Massachusetts.
Yes. This column is a classic time-waster.
