I suggest visiting Edmonds.com. they are a great site, they give the invoice price of the vehicle, and the actual cost of all the extras you may want. if you do your research and know what you want, you will pay thousands off msrp. They have a TMV true market value price, which gives the dealer some profit, which is fair, but doesnt rip the buyer off. I have bought all our vehicles at the TMV price. and saved thousands every time. no games. Just call the dealer, ask for the fleet manager, and tell them what you want. of course you can test drive vehicles before you deice, but do not buy anything at that time.

i recommend toyota, and also, a new vehicle. if youre going to buy a 2 year old car you may as well get a brand new one because the price diff. is insignificant if you do it ruight., without any potential mystery problems.

I don't know much about this issue, but i understand the gist of it; & I respect your knowledge of matters of property rights, etc. I think people don't pay attention to it because it's not something many people can relate to. we live in a sound byte society. Most people just own their homes, have a small front & back yard, & go to work every day to pay the mortgage. No one has ever infringed on their lawn, lol. It's as simple as that.


WHen people hear that arnie's appointment wants to tax them by the mile for driving, they get angry and protest. This is a simple issue, one that even John & ken can relay to the people.


But this conservancy stuff,.. no one i have seen, is able to sum it up in a cogent, relatable manner so that the average joe can GET IT and understand why to be leery of anyone (Arnie) who supports such things.
Most people don't own acres of property and no govt goons are lurking or infringing on it.


One guy claimed that the "Sierra Club' seizes all sorts of property. I don't belieev that. I replied that the sierra club has zero authority to seize even one foot of propery, much less an acre or 100 acres. Don't they simply lobby, and then have the govt seize this land? i mean, people cant just form some club and pronounce that the're suddenly 'kings' who are taking over someones private land. that's ridiculous. and, what does the UN have to do with this??


In order to get people interested, you have to give them a synopsis,.. a simple overview they can understand. I know i *could* read an 800 page detailed dissertation on it. not gonna happen.


don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to criticize. just giving my two cents. i know this issue is a basic one, and it's important. My point is that to get the public involved you have to make this issue have mass appeal.

One story posted here about dreier said that some guy spent $6000 of his own money on a website shilling for pro-homosexual agenda, pro-abortionist matthews.


Maybe they learned their lesson of squandering their money on candidates with wicked un-Christian agendas.


Matthews deserved to lose. Maybe now all these new johnny come lately 'activists' will actually pay attention to the conservative principles, and to the primaries, when it matters.. even if 'John and Ken' don't lead them by the nose.

Important to note that when a conservative pro-l;ife, pro-sovereignty republicn was running against Dreier in the primary last March, (sonny Sardo, who was endorsed by the CRA and by Tom Tancredo).. Heckyl &nJeckyl at KFI refued to have him on air.. refused to mention him even once.

That is not true.. they were already ridiculing and deriding Dreier last February, long before the primary. Talking abaout his Mexico-USA caucus, etc etc.

The site says "We have 150 days to collect the required 598,015 signatures-- until early  2005."; So they aren't aiming for this Novembers ballot.

I agree with you. John & ken are idiots, who are doing nothing to help the problem. They in fact had an excellent opportunity to defeat Dreier in March when Dreier had a Republican challenger, Sardo, in the primary.


Do you think they bothered to promote that opportunity?? At the time, they were talking about Dreier and his weak stand on the issue of illegals.


Yet they mysteriously refused to give his opponant any air time, (other than one clownish segment in which they let all candidates try to call in for 60 seconds, the day before the primary.) Other LA stations did give Sardo air time.

Now that they can advocate a pro-abortion , open border democrat to defeat dreier, they're all for it.
