Question for Palinistas. What will you say when...
vanity | 1-8-10 | Bob J

Posted on 01/08/2010 2:07:44 PM PST by Bob J

...Palin endorses John McCain?

Top ten...

1) She's just "playing the game". Standing on principle and voting the RINO's out is fine as long as it doesn't interfere with Sarah becoming prez.

2) If Sarah says supporting RINO's is okay, that's good enough for me. The Messiah is infallible and what do I know?.

3) She's not being inconsistent, she's making a tactical retreat, but hey that's politics.

4) A smart move by the smartest woman in the world.

5) She didn't want to but the dims threatened to file an ethics complaint if she didn't.

6) She's not quiting, she's reloading.

7) What endorsement? That wasn't an endorsement she was repaying a political favor. Everyone does it.

8) That was part of her master plan to make dims and the MSM fear her even more...if that's even possible.

9) C'mon, McCain wasn't THAT bad...

10) Who cares? Look at those LEGS!

Ardent Palin supporters (Palinistas) need to get over characterizing any criticism of Sarah as “Palin hatred”. Seriously, it’s infantile.

Well, yes.... which leads me to point out that accusations of "hatred" have heretofore been the province of leftists who are simply too lazy to debate based on facts?

But one supposes it's "elitist" to point that out -- and there's another little buzzword that seems to be increasingly popular among Palin's true believers.

“Some criticism of Sarah actually *is* “Palin hatred.” In that case the conclusion is justified and the criticism itself is juvenile.”

Can you point it out? How about from me? I’m assuming you mean from other FReepers and not an article from NPR...

Nope?

“You’re losing.”

You would think so if you’re part of the mob/thug. To you success is getting your posse together and ganging up on individuals to beat them into submission.

Believe me, you’re not winning. Hundreds if not thousands of people are reading this thread and recognize mob thuggery when they see it.

Can you point it out?

I've read the entire thread over the past couple days.

I've seen the pictures.

This is a community forum and the community is speaking. Engaging sophists one-on-one is a waste of time and bandwidth. Call me any name you wish, that is my stance and I've taken it consistently in the past.

JimRob will decided and yes, I may actually believe that you deserve some credit for having been here a long time. Surprised? I try to be fair. My current opinion is that you are not being fair, simply contrarian. Sophists are like that.

Personally I don't care whether you come or go and I have no control over that in any case. But every once in awhile I see a false argument that just must be rebutted if only to point out that others are actually paying attention not only to the points but to the arguments that are made to support them. That's interesting.

Otherwise...

Again, can you point out the Palin hatred?

You really are clueless.

I supported Bush in 2000. I now regret not supporting John McCain. McCain would not have spent money the way Bush did and he would fought the Iraq war better, in that it was McCain who was blasting Bush about needing more troops. Ended up that Bush took his advise and did in fact agree to a surge.

Other than those two things, there was not much differance between Bush and McCain.
McCain just has never been shy about spouting what he thinks, even if it is to blast Republicans.

Isn’t that what Sarah Palin in known for too?

I am not a party person like many on this board. I am a conservative. WHich means smaller government.

McCain would not have increased the size and scope of government the way Bush did.

All this hatred on these threads for McCain is something I just don’t get. Sure he screwed us but then so did Bush. Bush was worse.

There is no doubt that Palin will endorse and campaign for McCain against Hayworth.

NO DOUBT.

“What is it about John McCains’ brand of “conservatism” that you like most?”

Uhhh, who said I did?

I am not saying that is the only time I see you posting but WHEN I see you posting it is either a slobbering worship McCain piece, or a piece attacking conservatives and people that vote for them.

Why is that?

1. An equally valid question is, what will BobJ say when Mitt Romney (or whatever RINO you’re boosting) endorses McCain?

2. Your post could have been written by Andrew Sullivan. Word for word. No, I’m not kidding.

3. If Palin was a closet RINO, she wouldn’t have taken on Murkowski and his cabal in the first place, much less kicked their butts.

4. Now that I’ve read post 187...IBTZ.

I was obviously not clear in my post, I was more taking to task Bob J for insulting Freepers who like Palin. The thought, however, did occur to me that others did likewise about other candidates. But yes, Bob J was being a jerk on this thread about it, no doubt.

You're correct. Often it is blatant ignorance.

And I really don't think one who throws out terms such as 'Palinista' should be belittling anyone or anything as 'infantile'.

I love Palin’s conservatism and patriotism! She may very well support McCain out of loyalty and I have no problem with that. And I have no problem with whom she supports with her PAC. There is nothing written that says she has to do everything (or anything at all) according to JIM.

Sarah is unabashedly pro-God, pro-Life, pro-Liberty, pro-family, pro-America, pro-constitution, pro-gun, pro-limited government and so am I. And she’s wildly popular among the God-loving, Liberty-loving folks with whom I choose to associate. In short, she’s a refreshing breath of clean fresh air in an otherwise putrid failure of a RINO infested party.

She represents my interests better than any other viable wannabe at this point and if she decides to run, she will have my undivided support!!

Romney, the draft-dodging, Big Government, lying statist political whore can KMA!!

And your picture does say a 1,000 words, but Bob, unfortunately they’re all about YOU and political whores like you and the results and likely outcome of your slavish, cultish RINOism!!

So you can shove your picture and your RINOs where the sun don’t shine.

Sarah has more guts, talent, ability, patriotism, and sheer determination and love for America and our God-given Liberty than you and Romney and a thousand other RINOS will ever have!

It’s been more than obvious for several years that our pro-Life & Liberty Free Republic has become an embarrassment for you, so why the hell don’t you just take a fricken hike already!!

Shove it, pal.

GET THE HELL OFF FR if you don’t like it, but whatever you do quit your damn whining and pestering good conservative FReepers about your hatred for Sarah Palin!! It’s beyond sickening.

HG, What do you know about Ft Worth? Would you recommend it for a four-five day getaway?
I'm planning a return visit to your great State, though I'm leaning towards San Antonio again.

Palin isn’t Jesus. I may not agree with every decision she makes, but right now, she represents the principles I stand for more than most other potential candidates I see out there.

Excellent answer.

Yes, we should all get behind some other rock-ribbed conservative like Mitt Romney or Rudy Giuliani.

Here’s a tip: If your sight picture includes your foot, you need to think a bit before pulling the trigger.

Okay, thanks - I thought you might have a much better sense of time than most political junkies; however, she is the author of GOING ROGUE and one of her positive defining characteristics is that her opponents can't predict her next move.

So many online posters seem certain that she won't declare before the results of 2010 are in, but I hope she's in the running before that. But... perhaps she'll decide on something else entirely... only time will tell.
