Question for Palinistas. What will you say when...
vanity | 1-8-10 | Bob J

Posted on 01/08/2010 2:07:44 PM PST by Bob J

...Palin endorses John McCain?

Top ten...

1) She's just "playing the game". Standing on principle and voting the RINO's out is fine as long as it doesn't interfere with Sarah becoming prez.

2) If Sarah says supporting RINO's is okay, that's good enough for me. The Messiah is infallible and what do I know?.

3) She's not being inconsistent, she's making a tactical retreat, but hey that's politics.

4) A smart move by the smartest woman in the world.

5) She didn't want to but the dims threatened to file an ethics complaint if she didn't.

6) She's not quiting, she's reloading.

7) What endorsement? That wasn't an endorsement she was repaying a political favor. Everyone does it.

8) That was part of her master plan to make dims and the MSM fear her even more...if that's even possible.

9) C'mon, McCain wasn't THAT bad...

10) Who cares? Look at those LEGS!

To be fair, that was more a personal endorsement and not a political one. I’m waiting for Palin to come and say “I support John McCain in his campaign for Senate and I want you to do the same send. Send him money, work as a volunteer and help him defeat JD Hayworth.”

My question is how that would square with all the “run the RINO’s out of town and anyone supporting them can go to hell” rhetoric.

If Palin runs she is going to have to make all kinds of
political accomodations and compromises. But at that point what makes her different than any other politican?

Putting her on a pedestal only insures that when she needs to have her feet held to the fire it won’t happen.

Ardent Palin supporters (Palinistas) need to get over characterizing any criticism of Sarah as “Palin hatred”. Seriously, it’s infantile.

Your hatred for Palin is infantile, you even post vanities to dump on her in childish ways.

Bob J has gotten behind Newt, Romney, McCain, and has always been very nice about Giuliani, but Bob hates Palin.

First of all, I believe that we should critically examine all potential candidates - not just the ones we dislike.

For Senate. He’s up. Why do you think he’s be acting a like a conservative lately?

It would be nice for you to defend the conservative Palin like you used to defend Giuliani and Mitt Romney. I think it is social conservatives that bug you.

I don't recall defending Giuliani or Romney. What were the circumstances?

I have and will defend Palin and other conservatives against vicious attacks.

I'm not bugged by social conservatives.

I am bugged by people who claim to be on our side who have a lynch mob mentality.

The instant Palin exposes her "principles" by backing McCain over Hayworth, the lemmings will start racing for the cliff.

There are just a few problems with your premise:

1. An endorsement may not be forthcoming. You're just speculating.

2. Loyalty is a principle, too.

3. If Palin believes that McCain can keep the seat for the GOP and Hayworth might lose it to a Dem, her endorsement would be completely consistent with conservative principles.

4. If Palin was without solid onservative principles, she wouldn't have even run against Murkowski, much less beat him like a drum.

Actually my point was not about style but Palin's comportment and femininity.

I understood, I just decided to respond to Bob's expressed point, to "play the ball where it lies," so to speak.

“3. If Palin believes that McCain can keep the seat for the GOP and Hayworth might lose it to a Dem, her endorsement would be completely consistent with conservative principles.”

Like when she endorsed Scozzafava? Palin supporters not only want it their way, they want it ALL ways.

LOL, you are on a vanity lynch mob thread because when you guys can't dig at Palin for anything else then a vanity thread will have to serve.

It would be nice for you to lend support to conservative Palin like you do to liberal republicans, like on this thread. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/backroom/1754276/posts?page=6#82

Someone needs to start some ‘push polls’ asking if Juan McInsane learned his lesson from the Keating Five scandal and do they think it possible that he might still be on the take.

I say fight fire with f’in fire and scorch the miserable sonuvabitch.

I’m gonna hit Hayworth up with this:

Have 400 to 500 people line up outside McCains office
on Camelback Rd. The news media will show up and ask what the line is for. Then they tell the media that they are lined up because McCain offered $50.00 an hour for white people to pick crops.
