Sarah might want to rethink that commitment given this morning's tease by these two joker jockeys.
Playing “The B!tch is Back” and then saying Palin is going to call in is an interesting scenario.
Their show is a bit disjointed.
Fool me once shame on you.
Fool me twice shame on me.
I will not be torturing myselft with B&M again, regarless.
I’d rather live with hearing of her announcement through other media.
Well, it IS radio and morning radio at that, LOL!
. Are you old enough to remember Jean Sheperd and Lovejoy soap?
That was CLASSIC! Too long for here but go do a google.
Then there was the time he promised everyone stuck in morning rush traffic that he could guarantee he could get them moving. He teased it for days and when the time came he had everyone tuned to the show to crank up their radios and roll down their windows. He them played emergency siren sounds!
Shep was...amazing!
And Sarah Palin is playing along.
She could have released a tweet saying that she was not going to be on this show and quelled the rumors. But she didn't. So now all of her dedicated followers are going to look like dedicated fools.
Thank you Sarah for.... nothing.
Hmmm...I’m thinking I have the name of the soap wrong but it was something like that. I’m old and...forgetful...sigh.

It's Friday.
Maybe it's time for a thread hijack.
What did she have to do with it?
I don’t follow...there was an unsubstantiated rumor from a single source which has no history of getting anything right, and somehow that’s Sarah’s fault?
If Todd really is hunting, did it occur to you they’re in the woods and have no idea about all this non-sense.
As for B&M...the other day I listened to Howard Stearn’s original show from 9/11. I never listened to him before. Every preconceived notion I had about him and his sycophants was validated - they were embarrassingly ignorant, crass, juvenile, and self-absorbed in their own irrelevance. They didn’t know the first WTC bombing was in ‘93, and they confused that with Reagan attacking Quadaffi for the Berlin disco...they were all over the map. Their initial take was typical liberal pap, followed by full blood-lust “let’s nuke them whether they’re responsible or not!”
B&M are just cheap copies of Howard Stearn. They can’t be taken seriously. If Sarah does announce on their show, it will just be a local Alaska thing, and have no bearing on her election.
A doctor examining a woman who had been rushed to the Emergency Room, took the husband aside, and said, ‘I don’t like the looks of your wife at all.’
‘Me neither doc,’ said the husband. ‘But she’s a great cook and really good with the kids.’
I guess she's not paying attention to the news cycle.
Yes, she has an obligation to her followers to make sure they aren't looked upon as idiots. She knew about this rumor. If she didn't, then she certainly isn't very aware of her surroundings. She could have tweeted a one line tweet saying it wasn't true. But frankly, I think at this point she is just playing everyone for fools just like Bob and Mark.
I gave up on her already. You are right, timing is everything, and her time has passed. There was a window of opportunity, but she missed it. And this stunt didn't help at all. Not at all.
This wasn’t HER stunt.
Todd knew nothing about it. He's out hunting moose. Do you know if Sarah is with him? Neither do I.
You rage and get emotional. I'll keep laughing.
The fact that a lot of her fans nationwide turned in today to listen means that while it wasn't her stunt, she owns it.
She made a promise to announce on this show and these guys ran with a rumor that she was going to do it today.
Whether she was in on the rumor or not does not mean that she doesn't have an obligation to her base to quell these rumors. It only would have taken a second. But she didn't bother. Maybe she was too busy trying to decide if she is running or not to send out a two second tweet.
It wasn't really their fault (except for being gullible) or even the Palins' fault (even though it wouldn't have hurt to clarify that she wasn't announcing today), but it just shows that this is more of a circus than a serious Presidential primary campaign.
Tuning into a raunchy morning show thousands of miles away for some little nibble of information on whether someone is going to run for leader of the free world?
Kind of sad really. I can't imagine Perry supporters getting sweaty and excited by tuning into Jim Bob and Cletus in the morning on KHIK in Amarillo just to hear something about the campaign.
I saw this RUMOR when it first popped up last evening. It was from a questionable souce, it was second or third-hand (”from someone inside the Palin camp”), it was unsubstantiated, it was conveniently placed on several unofficial Pro-Palin sites, and it drew a great deal of attention to one radio show.
I told a number of people last night that NOWHERE was there any kind of official word about this. Sarah Palin hadn’t said anything. NONE of the officials, stations, or principal people that would have had to be involved said anything publicly — even though there were FALSE reports that “people at the station said” or “someone in the Palin came said...” And I made clear to everyone (1) DON’T run with this until you hear from Sarah herself, and (2) DON’T blame Sarah if it turns out to be untrue, as she had NOTHING to do with it.
And yet, some on this thread take the opportunity to bash Sarah Palin anyway. It figures. What does Sarah have to apologize for? She didn’t start the RUMOR. Go to the unreliable source. Sarah Palin has no responsibility to answer for a rumor she had nothing to do with starting.
Sarah Palin has made clear, numerous times, that she is praying about, discussing with family and considering entering the Presidential race — but that she will announce a decision by the end of September. She knows the current circumstances, the time constraints and the commitments she’s made. I think she can be trusted to keep her word — and the fact is, if she doesn’t announce something by Sept. 30th, the deadline for fin]ling for the Iowa Caucus will pass, and that would cripple any real shot at a candidacy anyway.
So, chill with the harsh words for Lady Palin. Truth is, looking at the current crop of Republican Candidates, Sarah stands head and shoulders above every other current candidate in integrity, principle, ideology and identification with common American citizens. I really believe we should be hoping she runs — or we might be in for a LONG 4 years after then next election....
I'm getting tired of hearing about her.
She's not running.
I was pretty pro-Palin, once. Now, not so much.
