We haven't had the stones to use the Deat Penalty for treason for quite some time.

IF this is true, we should invoke it for this. It might give Murtha, Dean, Pelosi and the editors at the NYT some pause.

Fireman 3rd Class

I reckon they mean Fire Control-man 3rd class. An FC3 (SS) isn't likely to know a whole lot the Russians wouldn't already know. That said, I wonder why the Russians would want to know how to launch stuff from submarines?

What's up with the Russians ?

I'll give you a hunch. The Russians played possum with Glasnost and all that sh%t. While Russia made nice-nice, an alternative currency to the dollar was introduced and began gaining credibility -- the Euro. In the recent past, they have been consolidating their control over the energy markets by confiscating private property (energy assets as well as money -- they defaulted on their bonds), and fomenting instability in the Middle East.

Now, the question is, why? What are they trying to accomplish? I think they are trying to break America and the west financially by manipulating the energy markets to destructively high prices.

We boasted that we defeated communism without firing a shot. They are trying to best us.

As an adjunct to this, if there is in fact a concerted effort to control the energy market -- and I just don't believe in coincidences -- consider those who have used propaganda and legal means to hamstring America's efforts to locate more oil domestically -- Al Gore comes to mind, with his alarmism about "global warming." Why that particular cause? Why now? Is it a coincidence that it reinforces our dependence on foreign oil, at the very time when oil assets are being confiscated by the sworn enemy of liberty? I just don't buy coincidences. So who does that make Al Gore and his ilk apologists for?

Well, you asked.

Wake up, America!

Maybe the Russians REALLY want to know if they can open a channel to start selling all their out-dated military garbage laying around so they can raise some extra cash?

But why go to the U.S.?They can get for FREE so many "secrets" about the U.S. from anyone in the U.N. these days! And get a few million free oil receipts too for their labor!

so they can raise some extra cash?

Russia is either the top or second largest exporter of oil in the world. The nation is huge and laden with natural resources. The Russians are known to be some of the savviest commodities traders on the globe.

"raise some extra cash?" That's a holdover myth from the old days.

When I first heard this story, the the Saudi daily Al-Watan (which the MSM picked up on) reported it as the sailer was spying for Israel. Now it's Russia. Sounds like the Arabs were pulling a "Reuters" and hoping an inaccurate story would swing US opinion against Israel.

Chemical debrief

Proper court martial

.12 dollar (.45 ACP) execution.

The way spys are handled.
