Based on long-standing principles of election law, opponents must raise defects in nominating petitions, including the eligibility of the candidate, at the time of the filing of the nominating petition. Petitions were filed in late 2007 and early 2008. There were no legal challenges And not for nothing: Don’t you think that Senator Clinton would have raised this issue in order to keep BHO off the ballot? Citizenship will remain as a political issue, and may return as a legal issue in 2012.

Your right. The 20th Amendment says it all...“if the President elect shall have failed to qualify”. I believe this happens after Dec. 15 when the electors vote. Until then Obama IS NOT President-Elect. He’s still just a candidate. That constitution just keeps getting in his way, doesn’t it!

O and his people have game played this. Talk by O and Rahm of a Civilian National Security Force (“better funded than our present armed forces”) plays a significant role. It also provides fair warning to any who bother to listen.
O will have Executive Order power to use when things go out of control.
If civil war can be defined as a struggle between opposing forces for the government of a county, I believe it obvious that is what we are looking at. Non-violent, without the use of force (yet) to be sure. The Republicans, however, have not joined the struggle and each of us should demand they do so. And, Jan 8 would not be too early.

So that’s it, huh? We just let Obama consolidate his power and wait for 2012. Then if we lose in 2012, what then? Wait until 2016? By that time Osama Bin Laden or his likes may have been naturalized in this country and can be put on the ballot because the USA will have bowed down and admitted we are responsible for every wrong perpetrated upon the world, therefore we should make restitution for our evils.
In 2016, what will your plan be. Wait till 2020?

In summation, your strategy is one of defeat.
The bottom line is that no court will - or should - now bar BHO from taking office in 2009.If I recall correctly, when U.S. Supreme Court Justices are sworn in, they swear an oath to defend and protect the Constitution. How can they, as a co-equal branch of our government, permit a violation to go forward of a constitutionally-mandated qualification for serving as president?
Berg may not have had standing and the lower courts might not have the power to do so, but I see the U.S. Supreme Court as the final arbiter as to whether or not a candidate can legitimately and constitutionally assume the office.
That’s my question too. Why didn’t Obama show the long form birth certificate instead of the Certification of Live Birth posted on his web site?
In my opinion it’s not because he wasn’t born in Hawaii. He probably was. It’s because there is something else on it that would greatly embarrass him, and could show him to be a fraud and raise lots of questions about his entire life story. What could that be?
1) How about that Barack H. Obama, Sr. is not listed as the father! That would show us all that he truly is a fraud and his whole “journey to find his roots” that he mentions in his two books was totally bogus. His father may be listed as some one of dubious character like Frank Marshall Davis, or someone else with socialist/communist roots.
2) How about the father listed as ‘unknown’. This again tells us he and his books are frauds, unless his mother, later in life, told B. H. Obama that Obama Sr. was the father. That’s why he took his name.
If by chance his father is listed as someone other than Obama Sr., and that man was an American citizen, and Obama was truly born in Hawaii, then Obama would be a natural-born citizen and eligible for President. Just a fraud.
Now if his father is listed as ‘unknown’, and he truly was born in Hawaii, I believe that Obama would still be considered a natural-born citizen, but the courts would probably have to make that call.
And even though he may be eligible for POTUS he would be shown to be a fraud of grand proportions foisted on the American people by his willing accomplice, the DNC!

On page 22, Obama describes his birth weight “ eight pounds, two ounces.”
However, the theme of Obama’s childhood-per his book, is that his grandparents and his mother created fantasies and told lies about their history and his history.
It appears that some of their motivation was to protect Barry from the reality of his genesis and his father’s abandonment.
He wrote that at some point, he no longer believed a word they said.
Obama’s book describes one very dysfunctional family.
The lived in an imaginary world of tall tales and fantasy.
Maybe he will try and pin the authorship on Ayers after all.
Or he could use the fanciful world his mother and grandparents created as an excuse for why he had no idea that he was not a natural born citizen.
But, he ran in good faith ..will of the people ,yada, yada.
Any jurist considering pending litigation should definitely read Dreams.
I of course agree that he’s a fraud. But in a pinch, no matter who is listed on his BC, he could simply demonstrate by a DNA test that Obama Sr is not his genetic father. (Do any of his ‘family pictures’ with the Obamas leave this in doubt?) Then he could claim whatever African-American US citizen he’d like as his real dad (my guess is he knows who it is) and be proven ‘natural born’ through and through.
Oh, and as to that fraud? His apologists would explain that he was being sensitive to the sensitivities of his recently deceased grandmother—for whose benefit he undoubtedly would claim the fraud was perpetrated to start with!
The Constitution specifically speaks to dealing with a President-elect who fails to qualify. Did you ever wonder why, or have you never read the darned thing?

There’s no reason to stop this train now that it’s moving. For $15, Obama could have made it all go away, but instead he has chosen to spend $800,000 and more. So the damage done to this socialist politician is totally out of proportion to the effort spent on it. Besides, we may just get the stars lined up and a Supreme Court that believes in the Constitution.
Besides, that is allegedly a Certification of Live Birth, not the long form birth certificate, which would show parentage and place of birth. In '61 you could get one of these from Hawaii without having actually been born there.
What DUH1 needs to provide, plain and simply, is no more nor less than my grandkids had to show to get into kindergarden.
For under $20, if he is a Natural Born Citizen of the United States of America, he gets to be POTUS, with no more questioning of his Constitutional qualifications to be there.
Instead he has spent over a million bucks to fight releasing the documents.
First off, the photo you were shown is not of a birth certificate, but a certificate of live birth, two different animals. But a more important point I'd like to make, have yet to have refuted, did you ask your colleague why factcheck posts a photo of a COLB that is wholly different from the one 0bama put on his own website? Why does that one have no folds, no stamp/embossing?? Why will no one from factcheck or 0bama's minions explain the discrepancy??
