I gave this 6 months in the beginning, but looks to me like the next 30 days will seal the outcome.

Interesting.

If rates continue, none of us will have a job by 2011.

I think you are correct. It may take a bit longer for the truely rabid liberals, in fact they will never admit their buddies screwed up, but the moderates may well never vote Dim again. Thank GOD!

This trend is actually very encouraging. In 30 days, if BO tanks than more libs that there are now will get their “buyer’s remorse”. So far, there has been some good news out there in regard to “leading libs” changing their tune. Whoopi Goldberg is one. And a BIG one.

Can conservatives regain power in 2010? According to this article: yes. But only if a “revoltion” of sorts comes about to change the current trend of destroying the country asap. The “tea parties” are a good start.

I think it will all be to evident by June...going to be interesting to see how America really reacts when all this disappointment turns to rage.

So I'm guessing that the writer believes the Rush distraction is going to work out for them?

It's wishful thinking to assume that the fully investing sheep that voted for Obozo will turn on him. The weeks are turning into months, and the months will soon be years. And, despite all the chaos....he will remain in office, spreading devastation throughout the world.

Please don't write me and tell me that we'll take back Congress in 2010, unless you can show me how we win the 40 needed to do so.

Please don't tell me he'll be impeached, unless you can show me how his Dem controlled House will draft articles and his Dem controlled Senate will vote to impeach.

And certainly don't tell me he'll resign because his popularity will get down to what Bush's was before he left office. By such inane logic, then why wouldn't Bush have resigned before he finished his term.

If this dipcrap would suspend corporate taxes for a year, suspend mark to market and put a moratorium on capital gains, we could recover quickly and strongly. But since liberals don’t use logic we’ll continue to try and spend our way out of this mess. This administration refuses to deal with the real problem that is holding the economy down and that’s the banking issue and the toxic assets.

I have to ask this. Are the Democrats blind? or stupid? don’t they realize that going along with this spending that we all know won’t do any good, that their careers are hanging in the balance with the 2010 elections coming up? who’s going to be the 1 to say enough to all this liberal spending? or are all all afraid too because they don’t want the race card being pulled out?

As much as I would love this happen, it is simply too soon. This young black president has too much of a grace period to go down this quickly, end of summer is a more realistic timeframe. Just being practical.

You must not know these clueless morons who elected him (not the leftists or the blacks). The people I am talking about watch MSNBC and that lesbian talk show host and think they are learning something. They read the NY Times, Boston Globe or Washington Post. They often have a big chip on their shoulder for whatever reason against Bush or the Republicans (I admit that could change). They are voting for what they see as their interests (believing Obama to be protectionist, etc).

Add them to the unions, blacks, leftists, and even the unemployed looking for a better handout, and the Democrats will hold majority approval for the foreseeable future.

Last Tuesday the messiah called the bottom in the stock market by announcing it was a good time to buy stocks for the ‘long term’.

Should this ‘announcement’ prove correct, his ratings will recover and critics will be silenced for a time.

Things are likely to get better before they get worse. The ultimate bottom will likely occur in mid 2010 when real estate prices stop falling.

If 4.5% unemployment is considered ‘full’ employment in a country of 310 million people....why is 9% or 10% unemployment an unmitigated ‘disaster’?

If a Baby Boomer has lost 60yrs of savings in the stock market on the eve of their retirement, and Obama doesn’t even watch the market, then that Baby Boomer who can’t retire blames Obama and Democrats for not restoring the market.

we can only hope. But unfortunately the greatest generation has proven disappointingly stupid when it comes to the democrat party. the AARP forum is the most stupid discussion board I ever read (aside from DU)
