You said — Geert Wilders was out here at Chapman University and the Mooselimbs were going to demostrate against him and they never showed up...however approximately a hundred counter demostrators ...most from the ACT group did show up!

Yeah, Brigitte Gabriel and that group is great.
More info about Geert Wilders...

You can see FITNA here...,

Someone else posted a YouTube interview of Geert Wilders, another thing to see.
First part of 6 parts...

Oh that is excellent!
We saw Fitna...and I have the DVD.
Yeah, it’s kinda hard for those Muslims to complain about FITNA, since it shows nothing but their own words and other news sources... :-)
[ they do try, though... ]
Want to watch that tomorrow.
I’m getting too old for it, too... :-)
Set it ablaze. They will all jump into the water to save themselves. Pull out Phillips, let the hijackers drown.
Pretty simple and it will be over in less than 2 minutes.
Would be nice to have totals us killed and totals them killed under each President.
Great work.
Thanks.
Not if the captain’s in the water and the pirates in the boat.
I just call him the “Resident” or “Resident-Usurper”
I think you misunderstood my comment.
I know real Tea party goers care about taxes.
I don’t care what any muzzhead thinks.
Sorry, I was thinking of something else.
It is an interesting list.
I am curious and want to understand:
1. The purpose of the list?
2. What are you trying to achieve And convey by the list?
3. There are many different “forms of war”. Please define precisely the difference you mean between “Wars are one kind of thing while actions in which countries try to test you are a different type of thing” - your sentence quoted is vague to me.
4. What are your prescriptions for the future, based on your list, and the difference you specify as “wars are one kind of thing” while “actions...to test you”... ?
I am not trying to criticize you, just want to Clearly understand your point(s).
I’d appreciate it if you answer as per my questions and #s. Thanks.
You omitted the events under JFK like the Bay of Pigs, the Cuban Crisis and how he started the War in Viet Nam which ended up costing a lot of lives on both sides. Before JFK was elected, he was wrapped up with the Nam situation like 0b0z0 is with Afghanistan/Pakistan. JFK started the massive build up around Nam and the Spec Op actions agains the Viet commies.
Your time line should go back to HST and the Korean War or FDR and WWII. Starting at Nixon and going to LBJ and omitting JFK sounds like something the MSM would do.
Comparing Reagan’s 8 years as POTUS during the Cold War which wasn’t that cold to 0b0z0’s less than 90 days as TOTUS was very sloppy. There are hundreds if not thousands of Freepers, who served active duty/reserve duty during the Cold War. Most of instances at sea and in the air were provocations from the commies while our naval ships and navy/air force planes were in international waters.
Also, during the Clintoon’s era, there was the first bombing of the World Trade Center which was buried by the MSM.
Well..., it just started with a simple post yesterday and two little items on it...
I never intended for that list to come about... LOL...
Here’s where it all started, and then some FReepers started giving me some more events.. :-)

But (I neglected to say..., I would be glad to add in any events that you or others want to add in here. But, don’t take me back to the Civil War... LOL...
I noted that you said — Also, during the Clintoons era, there was the first bombing of the World Trade Center which was buried by the MSM.

That World Trade Center in 1993 should be in there. This post is the latest list that I have, so far. If something is missing from that post, then give me the event, what President, and a link to the story, so I can follow it up... :-)

I don't think a body count is going to tell the story- but if someone put together a short synopsis of the President's reaction to the crisis it would be very telling.
You asked — 1. The purpose of the list?

Well..., it just started with a simple post yesterday and two little items on it... I never intended for that list to come about... LOL... Heres where it all started, and then some FReepers started giving me some more events.. :-) They would say, “add this” or “you forgot that”... and thus... here it is...
This is where it all started...

2. What are you trying to achieve And convey by the list?
Nothing much, except that I put a lot of time into it, after a bunch of FReepers kept telling me about this and that, which wasn’t in there.
After I kept adding the items the FReepers were giving me, I started getting sorta proud about having done it. Then it looked good to me, to have compiled it... :-)

And then you were asking — 3. There are many different forms of war. Please define precisely the difference you mean between Wars are one kind of thing while actions in which countries try to test you are a different type of thing - your sentence quoted is vague to me.
The easiest way to say it is probably to say what is *not* in there... World War 1 and 2, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, Gulf War 1 and 2, Afghanistan...
I’ll let someone else compile a list of battles and such for those. That sounds like way too much work for me... :-)
===== ===== ===== ===== ===== ===== ===== ===== ===== =====
And lastly you were saying — 4. What are your prescriptions for the future, based on your list, and the difference you specify as wars are one kind of thing while actions...to test you... ?
Well, I have no idea about future wars. All I can list, so far are the wars that I know about. Those are the ones that I’ve listed (which are not in there...). But someone else can compile a list of events within those wars... As I said, that sounds like a lot more than I was thinking about from my first post of yesterday... LOL...
Okay, but if you do think of something to add to the list, outside of those “wars” (i.e., World War 1 and 2, Korean War, Vietnam War, Gulf War 1 and 2, Afghanistan), then let me know...
