Atlanta, GA—At Deutsch, Deutsch and Deutsch, law wasn’t just for the court rooms, it was a part of everyday life. However, on Thursday, May 28, 2009, things changed dramatically. Two of the members of the law office decided to dress up as Latina women in salute to Barack Obama’s Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor.
The two white men, Rob Petrie and Joe Bullock, declared their intentions to their boss and senior partner, Bill Deutsch. And on Thursday, May 28, 2009, they came into the office dressed as two Latina women with long black wigs, high heels and black robes. The two men, now calling themselves Esperanza and Cambia, showed up for work on time.
