Here is video of Ronald Kessler talking about a new book he has written about the Secret Service, which reveals some little known "secrets" about the Presidents. The book is titled, In the President's Secret Service.
Kessler says Jimmy Carter was the most despised President by the Secret Service Agents in recent times. According to Kessler, Carter would fake carrying his own luggage by carrying luggage that was actually empty or passing luggage off to an aide as soon as he was out of camera sight. He also reportedly told Agents not to speak to him in the morning because he did not want to have to speak to anyone.
On the flip side, the agents loved Ronald Reagan. Reagan would reportedly write checks to people who were in need and not tell anyone about it. Reagan loved to spend time with the agents and they highly respected him.
Kessler also claims that the Secret Service "has been cutting corners" in recent days to save money, which Kessler called "unthinkable risks." . . . . . (Watch Video)

In my Officer Basic Course (OBC) at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, there was a female captain assigned to the school branch as a batter “commander”.
Our class’ 12-mile march was scheduled for a 100+ degree day in August, and it wasn’t fun. At the time, I was training for Ranger school, so my pack contained nothing but 75 pounds of sand.
Members of the class asked if they could ditch their kevlars for patrol caps, but the female captain steadfastly refused. Not fun.
When we’d finished, a buddy who already had several run-ins with this “leader” walked over and grabbed her ruck off the ground.
She had nothing but a pillow inside.
She received a bit of counseling from the school’s commander that afternoon.
I’ve got to get this book. Sounds like it will be very, very interesting.

During bubba administration female troops were permitted to hand in ‘blue’ cards that exempted them from pt.
Further, the packs were all brought to the front after a march.......in a truck. No one had to carry their pack.
Because Character matters. And you can learn a lot about someone’s real character by how they treat those directly under them.
I don’t recall ever seeing one of the blue “stress” cards.
I thought it was discredited as completely made up?
However, every march or “ruck-run” that I’ve participated in had the females ditch almost all of their gear immediately after it started.
One run was about 3 miles with full load.
The females ditched their stuff 100 yards from the start, with two male soldiers carrying each female’s rifle with the ruck hanging from it.
Invariable, they’d pick up their gear 100 yards from the end.
One broad had the nerve to pick up her gear as exhausted males puked their guts out, and run across the finish line FIRST.
Females.
They’re different.
Not bad.
Just different.

Carter was the biggest damned idiot and failure we have ever had in the White House.
Obongo is currently running a close second and has every promise of bypassing Carter for the dubious honor of being the worst POS to ever occupy the White House.

I have to believe that it shows that we fail to learn from our mistakes, i.e. our history (as in "those who don't know their history are condemned to repeat it!").
I would love to be as optimistic as you, but I'm not. I see this administration (and the nightmare it brought with it) ending badly. As of yet, I can't gauge just how badly.

In high school, we used to scuba dive regularly. One of the girls who was always trying to be “one of the guys” stood around where the tanks had been offloaded, waiting for somebody to pick it up and carry it the quarter-mile across the island. Finally, her p***y of a boyfriend did it for her. The rest of us said, “you want to dive, you carry your own stuff just like everybody else”.

I also survived Carter (do we get a T-shirt for that?? LOL!). Even during his administration, everyone could tell how bad he was, just like we are doing now.
If you want something to be optimistic about, be optimistic about this - we are seeing the America of old. People are getting involved in their government and trying to take control of it again and that’s a GOOD thing!! We can sit around agreeing about sheeple and kool-aid drinkers, but all those people we have written off are standing up and demanding an accounting from their elected representatives.
President Hopey Changey has done something that NO previous president in recent memory has been able to do - he’s gotten the voters, nonvoters, taxpayers and nontaxpayers all charged up about his policies, his spending and his overreaching. Contrary to popular belief, people ARE watching and they ARE paying attention. All this time, the media and the political elites were pretty certain they could do whatever they wanted because they figured we were asleep at the switch.
So, we are seeing America, the democracy, the way the Founders intended. What we are NOT seeing, is the response from our (so-called) leaders because they have become arrogant and are ignoring the pushback they are getting from the taxpayers.
Yep, one person has already died because of Obama connection to his church and some nasty play and that guy that obviously got birth certificate details was murdered and/or he had the goods on Obama and warning to others.
Obama needs to go period. We don’t need an America hater as POTUS. One who is so against what America is and her people.
Now he is going out having goons attack people of color. I told you dictators have no friends; and they will have to sacrifice everyone.
