It’s a great night in VA we have more than reclaimed the state Obama has been hit by a conservative tusnami. I’m at the McDonnell Victory party at the Richmond Marriott and it’s great.
Obomunism got nuked tonight here in VA. We are red again!!
To my friends in Virginia: good job and congratulations! You've definitely earned tonight!
Going by the list, we are apparently leading or winning in 7 Dem-held House districts (3rd, 21st?, 23rd?, 32nd?, 51st?, 67th, 83rd). Only 1 GOP incumbent is losing, Phillip Hamilton in the 93rd. If this holds, we’ll be at 59R-39D-2I (who caucus with the GOP), so we’ll be just below what we had in ‘03 (61, but not as high as the 65 from ‘01).
It appears Corzine is gone too. This is a great night!
Don’t pronounce that, yet. The dead, cooked, and ACORN votes ain’t in...
Thank you!
Can someone post an online video of the LOSER conceding?
Barbara Comstock has a slight lead with a few more precincts to count, so that’s a possible pickup. Many freepers will recognize her from talking head panels on Fox News. My open seat is behind by a couple hundred votes with a few precincts to count. Definitely a few new Republican faces although not the 12 some had suggested. The Dems took quite a whipping tonight!
It is sweet as Obozo has faced defeat for the first time! Today’s victory is like the Battle of Midway. Now we need to get to work on 2010 and give him a beating like the Christians did to the Turks at the Battle of Lepanto in 1571. We can thank God for today and continually seek Him for the struggle that lies ahead.
<We are red again!!
Good going! Try to keep it that way so I can retire down there (VA is the radiohead clan’s ancestral home). While you’re doing that, see if the rest of the state can secede from Northern Virginia, okie dokie? : )
Why would you want to do that? Loudoun, Fairfax, and Prince William all went for McDonnell tonight, and he even made a rather strong showing, relatively speaking, in Alexandria and Arlington (35-40% in each jurisdiction).
How’d that happen? Did you guys import a bunch of right-minded people into NOVA? : )
