Alright, so they're friends right? So they get along, and now both work for Fox. So they're both nice fella's and want the best for the country?
Right, right, right....
That's not what this little article is about. We, at TalkRadioInsiders.com see the heir-apparent to Rush Limbaugh being either Sean Hannity or Glenn Beck. Now there's no evidence Rush intends to hang it up anytime soon, but in case he does - we'd like to analyze the likely-hood of who will step into the #1 Spot in Talk Radio.
So below we look at several variables that we believe are the key-components to who would take over. Cue the Monday Night Football theme music - here we go:
Variable-Advantage
Consistency: Hannity Slight Advantage
Work Ethic: Equal
Connections: Hannity
Humor: Beck big Advantage

Beck wins hands down with intelligence level, entertainment level, and most important, his fidelity to conservative principles, and his lack of focus on himself.
His third-part shtick is a little much, but otherwise, he wins hands-down.

Jimminy Cricket - what the hell has this contrived horse race to do with substance?
Is anyone concerned that Chris Matthews and Keith Olberman like each other??

Every time I tune in Hannity I get a deja vu that I've heard him do exactly that same show...often.
Beck, on the other hand, is always different, and, quite often, too different.
Neither one has anywhere near the skills of El Rushbo.

I haven't listened to or watch Hannity since his disgusting display of fawning and support of Rudy during the 2008 Primaries...
Hannity belongs with Newt, McCain and Scozzafava...as the RINO he is.....

Beck Beck Beck Beck Beck.
Hannity is STILL complaining about Clinton, calls people names, and even I scream at the radio (when I used to listen to him), because he consistently fails to ask the right questions.

If Limbaugh and The Drudge Report were to simultaneously retire Monday morning Hannity would be off the air by the end of the week, and Beck would be working himself silly to take up the slack and keep the message alive. Nothing against Hannity, he is a true believer, its just that he brings nothing to the discussion that hasn’t been said better somewhere else and long before.

fella's = "fella is" or "fella owns."
No apostrophe is needed to pluralize "fella."

Honestly... Beck would win with me in a New York second. Sean's too busy trying to be cute and his redundancy is getting old. Common. If he wants to preach to liberals the same ol diatribe day in and day out go to a liberal news organization and ask to be heard. He is afraid to expose the birth certificate issue. Beck is not. He is afraid to expose the FEMA Camps and for a while Beck was not afraid to expose them but someone did get to him to silence him. Hannity is afraid of a lot of stuff while Beck, who may fear for his safty, tends to be a little more brazen. In my opinion Beck has already surpassed Rush when it comes to getting pertinent information.
But then that's just me.

Agreed. Hannity fits his nitch but he is no way in the same league as Beck. Hannity is the “boy band” of Talk radio, bland, simplistic and utterly predictable.

Who sees this as a ‘contest’ between the 3 of them.
I think they are all equally glad the other 2 are there, and that conservative shows and voices are being heard.
Is this a liberal article?
I have worked in industry for years and the only people who were totally unmanageable were the former government employees who come into a workplace with a sense of ‘entitlement’ to their jobs, and who immediately start the back-biting and petty vindictiveness that makes them useless in a group of productive people.
This article reminds me of that- it sees a needless 'competition' between them, when I am certain they all see each other as competition ONLY against liberalism

The rating should be based on the number of times/year Newt is on the show. The less the better.

I enjoy Levin quite a bit. He brings a large amount of intellectual heft to the arena. I also, often, enjoy Mike Church for his insight into the founders.
