Liberals have been embarrassing themselves for decades with this McCarthy business. Point out an unsavory association, and they squeal like stuck pigs about the scourge of McCarthyism. In the mind of the liberal, Senator McCarthy was a deranged conservative finding imaginary communists under every rock and creating the fiction of the Red Menace. Note: they have the same attitude today about radical Islam.

The tapes were called the Venona Tapes... Verona is a town in Italy. Although the author is vindicating Sen. McCarthy, he really should get the nomenclature correct. He loses credibility otherwise.
Like, I think it was Ann Coulter who said, “McCarthy didn’t make one false accusation at any time . . . “ The stuck pigs were exactly that . . . and their ranting and raving instead of answering questions proved it.
Just like our former embarrassing Senator Metzenbaum used to say when asked whether he was a communist or not, “I cannot believe you’d ask me something like that,” instead of answering the damn question.
McCarthy drunk was more correct than all the sober Liberals in America.

McCarthy was right. Marxism, Maoism, communism, socialism, and homosexuality are bad for the country.
